Hell I probably smell too whenever I see them live. Sweating liters of perspiration will do that to you, and I always feel kind of uncomfortable when I get on the train afterwards, because I know I stink of sweat. But then again I'm usually too exhausted to care all that much.
I wish they had showers at clubs.

Ryo I'm downloading that SFU now! So far, no problems with the YSI link ... yet.

Thanks ! I'll be sure to give you my impressions but don't expect a full fledged Ken Holzman's review ...! You'll hate them. I know you will. And so will everybody else. I don't hate it.

www.sendspace.com/file/kn1r1rFeaturing "Kiss", "Mountains" and "Boys & Girls". A great soundtrack to an awful movie (just like Purple Rain was) I just saw the SuperBowl performance on youtube. I wish he played the entire "Watchtower". It was nice hearing that song from someone who can actually sing. Prince is so cool he even made a lame Foo Fighters song sound good. btw, my apologies to the YSI fanatics. I tried uploading there, and once again it got stuck at 102%!!! Those guys over at YSI should focus on fixing their damn site instead of trying to make it look fancier. Who cares how it looks if the shit don't work??

I can't complain about using something other than YSI at this point -- I've now tried something like seven times to upload that Miles Davis Jack Johnson set via YSI Saturday and today, with no luck. So I'm ready to give sendspace a try myself now!
"Kiss" is one of Prince's high points, BTW. Absolutely perfect piece of soul so good that even Tom Jones and Art of Noise together couldn't fuck it up.

I've never had an unsuccessful upload with sendspace so far. I tried downloading one of my own files to check the d/l speed, and realized it is indeed a little slower than YSI. It's a small price to pay I say. Another bonus is if you create an account, you can see how many times people download your stuff. The Real Ramona is my most downloaded file, with 7 d/ls.

Miles Davis, The Complete Jack Johnson Sessions, disc one (I think) www.sendspace.com/file/1xiwseEnjoy it Phil! (and hopefully more than a few of you will take advantage of this -- if you've got any interest in the line between jazz and rock -- and how to thoroughly obliterate it -- then you have GOT to hear this).

Ryo I'm downloading that SFU now! So far, no problems with the YSI link ... yet. You hated it, right? No need to lie to me, I'm a man, I can take it. Fuzz - Are you talking about the SFU song I put in the live mix, or did you download that SFU comp? In any case, it's awesome that you didn't hate it.

I like that people are starting to use sendspace. I feel like such a trend-leader.

I actually have been busy today, and so haven't listened to a note of the SFU.
BTW, I listened to about a minute and a half of Natsumen the other day, and you really need to hear the Miles Davis/Jack Johnson sessions stuff that I'm putting up right now. Seriously!

Will check it out over the weekend, when I'll be on a computer that I won't get in trouble for downloading non-work related stuff on. I hope the link will stil be valid. I love that you only listened to Natsumen for a minute-and-a-half-though

The minute and a half was pushing it, too. Have you ever heard any John Coltrane, Ryo? I've got a feeling you might really enjoy a lot of his later work. "Sheets of notes" was the description that was commonly tossed around. I'd be happy to post A Love Supreme or Giant Steps if anyone is interested. And Ryo, if the link isn't good when you can get to d/l that Miles, let me know and I'll repost it for you. I'll try to remember to double check on Friday that it's still valid. I actually think that you'll find some stuff in this massive five disc set that will really grab you.

ΒΈ Links are supposed to be good for 7 days and I don't think the 100 downloads limit will be a problem around here ...
... 23 % into the Jack Johnson download ...
Gotta go buy myself a bunch of blank CDs !!

Unlike YSI, Sendspace links don't go down after a week, just as long as they remain 'active',... whatever that means. Everything I put up on sendspace over the last 10 days or so is still there. I just checked.
