Meg's nice rack is really the best thing she has going for her.

I bet she's really nice to her friends. That's about the only thing she has going for her.

Oh, does she have a pet dog or a cat? If she does, then I'm sure she's really nice to it as well.

And I'm sure she's never killed anyone. That's a good thing, definitely.
Man, I'm coming up with so many nice things to say about Meg White. I bet Rocky's all happy now.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Beatles, but I'm gonna have to vote Macca.
Flea bugs the shit out of me for some reason.

She has beautiful breasts. And horrible teeth. And this thread is about bass players, so the White Stripes are probably the last band we should be discussing here. Anyway, here's another picture of Meg's awesome breasts.

Did the doors (notice the lower case) have a bass player?

I think they had one sit in on the L.A. Woman album -- Ray mostly filled in the bass line on his organ. (keyboard) Hey, who's the wiseguy who snuck in and voted for Chris Squire? Sorry man! I picked 'em mainly for being the first bassist I was exposed to that killed me when I heard him playing lead, mainly the nasty sounds of "The Fish" off Yessongs. I still dig his solo album of the mid-70's (video selection: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjf_uahE_jY ) where he totally kept his instrument out front.

I voted for Mike Watt.
I have absolutely no technical knowledge whatsoever and no basis whatsoever for judging instrumental skill, but wtf - I've seen the guy live 4 times, and every time he totally blows me away. Not in the "oh my god that was the best show I've ever seen in my life I'm never going to forget it" kinda way, but just in terms of sheer proficiency. That guy is a fucking workhorse.
And I love the Minutemen.
Cheers, M
