So considering you're a Pearl Jam fan, where do they fit in. I really think Pearl Jam is the greatest rock band the world has ever seen. They just keep on keepin' on . . . and will continue to drop more & more sonically excellent albums, I really believe that.

I love your optimism I'm wondering if we're gonna get a b-side album again....they recorded like 25 songs for Avocado, plus on Lost Dogs they didn't include all of their b-sides/outtakes. Have you, or anyone here heard the Who cover they did for the new Adam Sandler movie? They cover "Love, Reign O'er Me" - they stick pretty close to the original, and even bust out some heavy synthesizer. As far as I know, that's the first time PJ has used one so extensively.

I'm surprised you didn't cough up Dredg, Thorn!
I'd added Porcupine Tree who have gone from strength to strength with every new album.

I'd nominate Opeth.

Nice to see Justice finally getting a vote. I almost feel guilty not voting for it myself. However, I hate the fact that it's tied with the Load albums. That's just wrong. I just wanna remind you that I voted for Load/ReLoad b/c I understood that it was the "Nelson" option for this poll. Well, that and I like the guitar work in "Until It Sleeps."

I really don't know Metallica's material, so can't rate them
but lest we forget, REM had/has a fairly nice run
