A couple of things a) would give my left kidney for that batman box set. Swish, swish. b) Awesome packaging on Memento, I don't think we will be so lucky to see such nice production over here.
And because its been forever since I was here last, I will try and remember recent dvd purchases off the top of my head;
Ed Wood Batman Arrested Development Season Two King of the Hill Season One (released last week, fucking silly) Family Guy Season Three Special Edition This is Spinal Tap Little Britain Series Two Rock Profile Complete Series The Wedding Singer So I Married an Axe Murderer (haha) Friday the 13th Part Two Friday the 13th Part Three Serial Mom Monster's ball (for a dollar, it was not worth it) Palindromes Kill Bill 1 & 2 (finally, I felt like I was not a real human being) Gosford Park The Kid Stays in the Picture Vegas Vacation The Complete Thin Blue Line Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Pope Town Series One Soapdish (a gift) Melinda and Melinda Bullets over Broadway Celebrity Orlanda Philedelphia Les Visteurs Simspons Series Five Complete fawlty Towers Red Dwarf Series One, Two, Three Complete Blackadder The complete Late Show (australian skit show, not the David Letterman variety)
So, yeah. Latest DVD purchases summarised.

This was $5 so I didn't feel like I could be ripped off. The theatrical cut was entertaining but felt badly trimmed in the editing department (and why is it always 20th Century Fox films that suffer in editing). This R-rated cut contains a lot more footage to further flesh out every character. I still wish they rethought a bit of the origin section (Matt Murdock taught himself how to fight crime? Horseshit!) and Electra's character (she's a sexy, lethal nutjob, not a good girl) but this is still entertaining.
