I'm on decent authority that the Shin mod board is not the source of any of this strife. I think it has more to do with the lingering effects of Comic Events. In fact I think the real issue was that people complained privately to strat, not that the joke had run it's course and to some was getting annoying. I mean when is shit in CE not annoying to everyone not participating in whatever flamewar's going on at the moment?

So had that not happened I don't think any of this would have gone down.

Spend hours and hours on end clearing bombs from certain posters from the PJ-board, CE and various othersw.

I think because that point got lost (largely because strat didn't want to call anyone out as the cause of the situation), Pissin, Ken, etc. didn't take Strat as serious as he was expecting. Comic Events was a joke but it was also a deliberate prank to make a point that comics are just as useless as half the conversations that go on there, except comics result in a lot less arguments. Given that, anyone participating in Comic Events wouldn't really find it necessary to cut it out, given it's considerable harmlessness. It all just seems to be an unfortunate misunderstanding.

...which is why you need to vote for Shin for CE Mod in '05. His vision and ability to perceive conflicts and diffuse them separates him from the rest of the pack. The choice is clear! God bless.

No, I wasn't insulted by the Shin Moderator board, Ded, and it didn't cause this. "Blow me," however, is an insult (unless clearly a jest, which this obviously is not). Coming from someone who just had a ban lifted, it tells me that they are not interested in being here.

That thread just hurt my feelings a bit (yes, even I have feelings!) but it was no biggie. Kenny said it wasn't at anyone's expense; it was at my expense, but I'm not that thin-skinned. I knew it was satirical. It was also exacerbating the the pissin disruption and banning fallout. It was merely locked (and not deleted) to help straighten out CE.

What Chris says is right, Clubber. The only time you (and a couple of others) ever show up is to try and stir up shit. We are a few more than 12; you must be thinking of Shin's board.

Let me ask a few simple questions: Do you think I'm going to host a board where people insult me and the other moderators for trying to provide a viable discussion forum? Would you? How long would I last in your forum if I did that to you?

Strato, I have a question for you and I am not trying to start any trouble just a curious question. Pissin and Ken were not the only ones posting comics on the CE board. Shin was an equal participant, why did those two only get banned?

And Just as an observation, Vibe was banned for a pretty trivial comment, I really didn't understand it. And again this is no big deal, but just thought I would point it out for the hell of it. Go to CE 8 page 39 and you can see what that comment was.
