Shepard being the old world spelling because shin intends to bring old world values back to the community.

I share Mr Lang's concerns, Candidate Shin. As important as it is for you to be able to assure Strat's constituents that you will carry on his legacy, you need to be able to reconnect with the posters who were driven away. We are the little sheep who wandered away from the flock & got lost on the interstate highway. We need a shepherd. Citizen Layla, if you had one wish to make for the CE board, one wish that Jesus himself would bless you with, what would it be?

Shin, get to the "D's" already. I'm waiting patiently for Laurie Dhue.
DED, I'm following the money. Will you please post a list of Shin's campaign contributors? Thank you.
Don't make me file a Freedom of Information Act request.

There's no money list. We are grassroots, we are using the power of the boards to make our case. Supporters are loyal boardists, just like you, stratman.
Why? What do you know?

All the money for the shin campaign has come from bake sales, wet t-shirt contests (I won 2nd, bastards) and various e-bay sales of completely legal items.

Now that's what I call being responsive to the electorate.
I'm sure I'll have more questions as they arise. I'm still trying to get a handle on the true motives behind this candidacy.
DED, will you or the candidate be available to field questions later?
Oh, while I'm at it...should jelly donuts be an integral part of the American diet?

Good questions, Strat. Some specifics I would have to run by shin, he is very busy but I have no doubt will make time to answer your questions as soon as he possibly can. I will also be able to answer questions for most of the afternoon.
In regards to jelly doughnuts. I like jelly doughnuts but I don't believe this campaign has an offcial stance on their dietary significance.

I believe that jelly donuts are an American delicacy, and no loopy "dietitian" is going to tell neither I nor the American public how to best enjoy their delicious freedom!
Mmmmm, love that Freedom.

The question being, how does strat-0 feel about jelly doughnuts?

Grape or strawberry? Actually, jelly donuts are a reflection of the decadence which threatens to destroy our society. Chocolate covered, glazed, or creme filled should be enough for anyone. But I'm not making any value judgements about those who relish jelly.

Strat, Strat, Strat. I must say your stance on jelly filled donuts disappoints. I do enjoy custard filled long johns, and chocolate covered donuts too, however. The fact that you refrained from making value judgments in the matter of donut preference is good enough for me though. You are still my candidate! Let freedom ring!

Taking a position by refusing to take a position is the mark of a cowardly, wishy washy candidate. What is it, strat? Constituents want to know.
