It's the busiest board of all time. It would be a shame to not make a temp board.

it would be a damn shame if they erase all the RS boards. when i would be really bored working night shift, i would go back and read old posts. good times.

yeah, i never thought of that. Having all the old posts erased. forever. noooooo.
Maybe they will be stored in a vault buried out in a desert in Nevada, far enough away from La....
SuperG and I will go on an odyssey and recover the past.

BTW, on the skyiscrape website they have mp3's of the recent eddie solo performance and his jams with Stone and Mike. The Yellow Ledbetter with Eddie on drums is pretty cool. And you can never go wrong with Eddie doing "The Seeker"

Who would've thought my post #500 Last Exit lyrics would really be my last exit and lead to the boards being shut down? Not I.
Please don't go on me, don't go on me now... Never acted up before, don't go on me now I swear I never took it for granted, just thought of it now

Thanks, Slickster. Actually as soon as I found out the boards were down I sent in a "suggestion" to RS of "Put the friggin' boards back up" and then scoured through my email trying to find one of you guys to see if there was a backup plan. Luckily I found Gordo's and he came through nicely.

Should we set up an Advice Lounge? I started to but then figured that should be Knight's job.

Ah man, I was going nuts without any board talk all weekend. How sad is that? It would be a real shame if all those old posts do get deleted though...that's two and a half years of hilarity gone for me...

Seeing this and the Tool board back up has been inspiring me to get out my Pearl Jam and Tool albums back out and give them a good blasting on the stereo... it's getting a bit late tonight to fit them all in, so I think tomorrow night's listening will feature PJ and Tool heavily... I forgot how much i loved those two bands.
My real craving Pearl Jam wise is to hear Yield again.
