Thorn / any PJ fan;
Have you listened to any of the new songs? I tried my best to stay spoiler free, but the dark sides' powers were too strong....."Parachutes" was well worth the listen...
Oh BTW, I've decided that "Parachutes" is indeed a good song and IMO is better than WWS. It kinda has an "Around the Bend" (No Code) vibe to it....It's by no means a carbon copy, just has a kinda lullaby feel to it; I like it, and it gives me more hope for the new album.

I'm being ever so patient myself - with Pearl Jam, with everything basically - I'm holding off on alot of albums presently and this one is one of 'em, mainly until I am more financially able to afford stuff - so I am here being good, listening to singles that are released online and whatnot and not complaining - but hey I'd love to read a good review or two when the album does come out - I'm fascinated with what you guys all think of their music and of course it helps me form my own opinions once I do get the album myself!

An interesting collaboration that would be! :-) I can actually see how it might work well - the current version of PJ and Springsteen seem musically in similar spheres! :-)

I got this backwards....it's Eddie Vedder w/ The Boss and the E St. Band... The clip starts off a bit awkward, but once it kicks in, the E St. Band really rocks out...

Oh yea boys and girls; Don't forget to set your Tivos/DVRs/VCRs....
This Saturday Pearl Jam will be on Saturday Night Live! Thier first time on the show since 1994!
On May 4th Pearl Jam will be the musical guest on 'Late Night with David Letterman'.
For some strange reason, Pearl Jam and Letterman have a friendship....The only TV PJ has done for over the past decade has been Letterman's show...Paul's band also likes to play "Hail Hail" quite often.

Yep, at the CD store my friends and I own, we got posters w/ the Alvacado....
So, the Beatles have the White Album, Weezer has both Blue and Green albums, Primus has a Brown album, Metallica has the Black album, and Pearl Jam has the Alvacado album; curious...
