1. I won 1st Prize in the International Spelling Bee when I was in 3rd Grade. 2. I won 1st Prize in most of the Science Projects I entered during elementary school. 3. I took home the Gold Medal in Olympics Of The Mind, 1983. *4. I graduated on the Dean's List w/honors from Emerson College in 1987. 5. JAC, that avatar is amazing! Is that a real band?
Let the mystery unravel...........
1. I was an all state chair in drums. I was captain of the Snare line in High School and blew a scholarship because I hated the college band directors.
2. I played drums for an early incarnation of Explosions in the Sky. We were called Dry County and we only played two parties I think. I quit the band because one of the members was being kind of squirlly to me and if you ask that guy, to this day "I was kicked out of the band". Well, truthfully I walked out.
3. I had a poem published in the Texas Junior College Poetry Anthology and I got to read out loud in front of a panel.
4. I did moniters and drum teching for Asleep at The Wheel for one tour.
5. I didn't lose my virginity until I was almost 20. The girl's name was Angie and she was terrible in bed.
