Paul, I live in Richmond, VA. Richmond is a weird kind of place, in that the city is completely spread out, but there's only one neighborhood worth living in, and that's central Richmond. The surrounding suburbs are all a different shade of crap. You're pretty close to me....If you ever come up to DC let me know.

5. Riley and I have been homosexual lovers for 4 years. It started with innocent flirtation on the old RS boards, but gradually we both came to realize that we shared something very real. We first rendevouzed in Toronto, as we figured it would be a good central meeting point for us. Since then we've met periodically when Riley's wife is out of town, or just whenever we've both had a chance to get away. The first time Riley stared into my eyes and told me he loved me, that was the first time I ever really felt alive. Ha, I knew it! I'm changing my answer from Pat to you two in the awards thread.

1. I've never done drugs of any kind. Even legal ones? Caffiene, pain killers, etc...? Never taken a bong hit? I've tried a few substances here and there....Don't like any of them except weed and alcohol.

4) I vividly remember hearing (on the radio) the breaking news of Kurt Cobain's death, and I listened to a hell of a lot of then-modern rock radio at the time. Not that I knew what I was listening to, but I felt deeply touched by what I heard and I'm still strongly bonded to much of it to this day. 5) I enjoy writing, but I do it in spurts. I'll go five or six months without doing anything notable, and then jot down a bunch of (often incoherent) stuff. Likewise for both #4 and #5.

Legal stuff, sure, just never felt the desire to take the next step. Had planty of opportunities, but just, meh. Didn't feel like it was that big a deal. Alcohol on the other hand, is a different story. Yummy beer.

1. My 2 year old sister was killed in a car accident in my grandparent's driveway when I was 5. I saw the whole thing happen. I remember thinking if I was Superman I could have flown in a grabbed her before it happened. 2. I was engaged about 11 years ago to the girl I went out with for 7 years out of highschool. I called it off one weekend when she got back from a trip to Philly. Toughest thing I ever had to do, and clearly the wisest. 3. Some know. Many don't. I was in a band for 2.5 minutes in the mid 90's called Jimmy Two Times (from Good Fellas). We were better than Collective Soul. 4. I'm a vegetarian, animal lover extraordinaire, and as well as I like to think I communicate with humans, animals make much more sense to me. 5. I set up the Christmas lights on our house in the shape of the Weezer logo this past Xmas. 6. I can drink more beer than all of you, except maybe Tunes.

Awfully sorry to hear about your sister, Riley. That had to be horrible. I know what a jokester you are, and I think I know when you're not being one, after all this time. I guess I'll be in with my 5 sooner or later. Btw, I don't think you can drink more beer than me, dude. I've been practicing longer.

I love learning new shit about people. Riley, I'm really sorry to hear about your sister, as well as that you had to witness that And Fuzznuts = Tim. Excellent. The five things people here don't know about me are the five things most people don't know about me, so I can't really disclose them. So I need to think of 5 mundane things.

Thanks. 30 years ago or better now, so long ago in perspective. Things like this just help me remember.
In retrospect though, I think I fucked up the exercise, by really giving a couple things no one knows and a few things some people know.
I'm sure everyone knew I'm piss poor with instructions.

Wow, that's pretty intense, Riley. I can't even imagine what that must have been like.
And Strat, I have faith that Riley could out-drink you. He's Canadian. Their beer has like a million times more alcohol than ours.

my friend's little boy saw his mother get killed (car accident). he was only six. at the funeral, he was trying so hard to be a man in front of everyone. he'd go and peer into the coffin and try to make jokes to distance himself from the emotion. when he was by himself, he'd look so sad and lonely...he'd cry... but the minute he saw you noticing him, he'd try to act all tough again. poor kid.
anyway, riley, that's tough.

1. I am way awesomer than I let on here.
2. There have been at least three legitimate religions begun in my honor.
3. Five out of eight women have either fantasized about me or about someone who has fantasized about me. The rest have had sex with me. Like Rocky.
4. I look fantastic in dresses.
5. I am awesome.
