I've had no interest in getting involved here because I think it's ridiculous... but that, sir, is worthy of some serious kudos. Well said, drunk or not.

I just figured folks would be glad for a break in the whole resurrected Sedaka vs. Castaways skirmish. The door's open now for that one to continue.

Oh man, four days and I can go on vacation and stop whoring for the man myself. My knees are sore and my I got broken vessels in my mouth from the corporate schlong I gotta suck every day. UGH!

er.. ew. at least you're not gettin pounded. like riley. but riley likes that special tingle.
i'm tired of vacation but not really wanting to have a job again. i know at least there will be no corporate whoredom involved with pink hair setting off warning lights at the interview! hopefully just some nice coffeeshop or grocery store.

Trust me, I'm thinking of quitting and going and living off the grid somewhere.

i'm all for wiping out humanity except the people too smart for us to kill, and just farming/hunting to sustain ourselves. sounds nice. the way it's supposed to be.

Off - grid sounds appealing to me. Got to find a place where the weather is nice year round, that features several high profile colleges/campuses. So Cal.
I'm about to apply for a Supervisor position here at the U. Hospital. Supervisor of the Radiology Transporters. I looked at the job qualifications posted today and - lol - I'm the only one actually qualified in-house for the job. Guess it is a shoe-in, after all. (They're only hiring from inside)

you ever seen "home movies" skvor? it's a docu about some of the strange dwellings people build for themselves. one hippie couple lives in an old bomb shelter type thing deep under the ground. above ground they have a green house and various bio-conscious enterprises. maybe a few of us should get together and start some kind of commune in a place like that, with thick radiation-proof walls to separate ourselves from said grid. lol.

but wait.
off the beaten path that far would mean less live music to see!
you'd have to travel and travel and travel.....but wait, thorny already does that ANY way...
oops sorry. great idea!
ok, carry on.
shit, i just wrote a love letter to nyc (and chicago and paris) over at 'random'.
i like civilization...'the grid' is just a necessary evil.

Living in a big city entails a lot of bullshit, but I live here anyway because I think the perks are worth it.
