I know it's a little late for it, but I'm real OCD about things like this: I forgot to tell luke to be careful on his trip to Tennessee!
So, luke, (luke's internet spirit, since he's probably already there) be careful. Have fun. Say hello to Wilco for me, if you even see their set.
I saw Eternal Sunshine, FINALLY, last night. I really loved it. L-O-V-E-D it, especialy the actor's choices. Another notch in Winslet's belt! And Carrey did some shockingly inventive acting himself. GUess I should write some proper review on Weeping's board. But how passe? Everyone's probably already dissected it. Maybe I'll just see it again, it struck such a nerve.
Well, that's all I got this morning. Off to dance my tootsies off.

Here's a recent photo of Mark Kozelek for those of you here in the coffeeshop who are RHP fans... Isn't that the ugliest 12 string Fender you ever saw? And the price tag is still on it...I guess the band is renting... btw, this photo is by Chris Reedy, and I hope he doesn't mind that I linked it...

June 11th, 2004, and I'm STILL a "Junior Member". I'm actually kinda proud of that!

Yeah, that's pretty ugly - like a Jaguar body with a grotesquely mis-shaped head. About the price tag - maybe he's going for a variation on the Minnie Pearl hat thing.

Hey Lumen - I loved Eternal Sunshine too. Twas the most interesting fim I'd seen in a long time - and required full concentration. Nice to see Kate out of corsets and....was it my imagination or was Jim Carey rather dishy ? ? ?

I'll try and do that, Shane...
Beth Orton was pretty good, I'll agree. Think she was playing just before the rain hit...Neko was better, though.
I've got a HUGE Bonnaroo review coming up in the next few days...I actually want to write this out not just for the board, but for myself, as well, so I'm gonna be thorough and what-not. It was so fucking crazy.

I know i've always championed Alive and pre Alive era Kiss, but honestly, when it was the 4 original guys it was always pretty cool.

Riley: I agree Black Diamond is a seminal track, but give Baby Driver another listen, it's kiss perfection. Great rythm track and Ace is all over this track, and Peter shows why he had the most rock n roll voice in Kiss.
