Just watching seasons 1& 2 on DVD. F*ing LOL funny! Even funnier, friend of ours looks just like Julian! Can’t get over Bubbles, those frigging glasses man. I think my faves so far are Who invited these idiots to my wedding? And I can’t remember the titles but the one where the old gals dog eats the brownies & the one where they burn down Bubbles shed w the grow op. This is the SHIT! Hey Riley............ knock knock  |

Oh where to start. I’d eml’d riley that Bubbles was coming to my town. Namely the hanger I was working in. I didn’t post it here in case it went south. Well here’s the scoop & why my opinion of Mike Smith has gone far south. They (he & Tom Cochran rolled in on Wednesday). Thursday they flew with 410 sqn. On Friday it was supposed to be AETE were I was working. Friday morning comes, the hangers awash with anticipation & the grousing starts. Lo & behold like a page right out of a TPB’s script seems “Bubbles” went out on a binge Thursday night w some of the higher ups & is to hung over to show. Folks (including me) were waiting all day till one by one snapping out of it from 2 on ward. In the pit I over heard some very pissed off woman referring to having to “contact press now”. After work we went to the club & it seems a base wide eml had gone out saying “Mr. Smith had to leave due to an audition in LA” I knew the truth. Had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel were they were staying & a certain Warrant I know was also there. I asked him “so did that little lush show at all?” Funny he never asked “what lush” just filled me in on who all had been on the night crawl with Bubbles.(There's nothing like a leading question). We returned to the club in time to see Cochran waltz in wearing a flight jacket (common to customize for cleb guests) & he got on stage just him & his git & preformed Life is a Hi way & Big Leagues. He looks very very old & used up. If one didn’t know who he was you’d have thought a bum accidentally got on base. Then, he left. I’m told at some point Bubbles had put in an appearance at the local high school & spoke on the local radio. There are also photos of him in one of 410’s birds. If I get paws on I’ll scan & post. All in all it’s left a sour taste. Cost to Canadian taxpayers Transport, hotel for two for 3 nights, free food & booze. Payoff for fans…………. Close to worthless!   |

Well I guess AETE weren’t the only ones disappointed.
Bubbles was supposed to go to Bombardier too & never showed.
He was also contracted to come to the club Friday night.
I’ll take a photo of the ad sign today & post it just so you’ll know I’m not shitting any one.
I found out what enabled them to do this little “stop over” too. Proximity. They appeared in Edmonton at “the BEARS” annual Halloween bash. Big radio station doo down there.
