Rockkid...just a suggestion...go into you Modify Profile section and change the size of your avatar to 100 x 100 (that's the max limit). It's hard to tell what your avatar is because it's still at the default size. Carry on.

You know I’m all for freedom of speech & its obvious there are some heavy duty yank haters on this site but can I make a serious request. As a Canadian speaking about a Canadian show can I ask you to post something actually related to the topic here & realize that on this thread in particular I give not one flying fuck about your political views! Do we have to ruin every damn thread?
All I ask is you take a moment to give this some consideration.
Point taken...tho I didn't think my first comment was the least bit political after maarts posted the 'for comparison' picture of Bush...I was just lamenting that being SO in the public eye for anyone in this day and age, an age of instantaneous transmissal of every last movement is going to always succeed in catching you at your fucked-up 'best'...I do apologize for not just letting Ken's WeverTF-that-was, go...sorry.

Bubbles hopes to land big record deal
CHARLOTTETOWN -- Ricky, Julian and Bubbles haven't even taken the stage yet and already they're creating controversy.
Organizers of the East Coast Music Awards are defending their decision to use the Trailer Park Boys as hosts for the Feb. 27 national broadcast from Charlottetown.
The news editor of one local paper said he's received several letters from people upset over the choice and show organizers are fielding e-mails from people who don't think the comedic trio is appropriate.
"The selection of these actors portraying foul-mouthed, drug-using, petty criminals as representative of East Coast music is ludicrous at best and an insult to every music-loving Canadian in general," Edward Marsh of Charlottetown wrote in a letter to the editor, published in The Guardian yesterday.
Campbell Webster, the chair of ECMA 2006, said the Trailer Park Boys are a good fit for the show, which will air on CBC.
One of the Boys posted a message on a website, enthusing about hosting the event.
"Oh I'm *$% 7/8*# excited alright!" the character Bubbles wrote. "There are probably all kinds of record company people going to be there, and I'm hoping if I sing some of my songs to them they might want to sign me to a big record deal."

Okay who's seen the "big screen" yet? I'm going as soon as it arrives at the local show.
