I really wouldn't mind a Cooper S - not sure about the clubman though, I like the tight lines of the regular, non - elongated Mini, though the clubman cuts a fairly svelte shape - its just the compactness of the regular model that catches my eye...

I got home from Boston today and found out my 26 year old roommate totaled my 2009 Toyota Camry. Sigh. Tomorrow I get to deal with the insurance company and the highway patrol. Ain't life fuckin' grand. Heres a pic' fortunately no-one got hurt except for several trees:

Richard (the roommate) had permission to drive my car while I was away. He was going to the store and a dog ran out in front of him. Richard swerved to avoid the dog and hit some trees. A police report was taken and I need to go to the highway patrols office today to pick up a copy of the accident report for the insurance agent and answer any further questions they might have regarding the accident. Not that I can tell them much. I was 1000's of miles away! My mom almost bought a smart car during my trip. I had never seen one before. Little two seater. I did everything I could do to talk her out of it as they (the cars) don't look safe in the slightest. Glad she changed her mind! Heres a pic' of one.

Heres a pic of the 2002 dodge neon that I traded in for the camry. A security camera at a friends house captured the image. Hence the numbers at the bottom.

I had to go to the town of Jasper the other day to drive a donated police car back to the school, about 15 miles. Pretty nice car, but I suspect it's too nice for the administration to let me have it as a trainer for my department. They'll probably give it to campus police. Anyway, that's the first time I ever drove the speed limit and nobody passed me! ;D

Pat - sorry to see what happened to the Camry - I remember you showing us pics of that car brand spanking new - what a bummer! Hope you get a good replacement...
Man, though that thing must have taken a good whallop to the A pillar on the driver's side for it to cave like that - Camry's, like most newer toyotas have pretty good crash safety, but it looks like your Camry took a good decent whack, sorry to see it. I hate seeing good cars all mangled like that.

Heres a pic' of my new Camry that replaced the one my roomie totaled. This one is an XLE and has leather interior with a navigation system, heated seats, push button starter, fantastic stereo system, heated seats, moon roof and so much more. I love it.

Congrats man! (but if that 104 degree temp is right, I doubt you'll be needing those heated seats, huh?)
