Let's see here. I don't know if this is going to go anywhere, but. Off the top of my head...
It's Tuesday night, so I'll be watching The Office and that Jason Lee show My Name is Earl. Haven't decided just how funny that show it, but it's certainly entertaining.
Dane Cook has been blowing my fucking mind lately. I swear this guy wasn't this funny just a few years ago. On that Dave Attell special alone, his bits about The Price Is Right and puking were two of the funniest things I've ever seen. Been trying to Soulseek his new album, which has apparently climbed higher on the charts than anything since Richard Pryor back in the day or something, but I'm always stuck in long lines.
Let's see...feel free to quote whoever in here. I put up this board because of the recent strings of SNL and Mitch Hedberg talk.
Also feel free to argue and be mean to people who think things are funny that you don't. Because that would be funny.

Steven Wright:
"You know that feeling when you're relaxing sitting in a chair leaning back so you're just on the back legs and you start falling backwards but you get your balance back just in time?
"Well, I feel that way all the time.

No new Earl this week. And on my birthday, too. I was pissed.
Anyone keeping up with The Colbert Report? That bit on Harriet Meiers being a "Quitter" was priceless. I love his "The Word" segment. It's...trustigious.

It's...trustigious. That was hilarious! I also enjoyed the Jeff Daniels interview very much, especially comparing the Chelsea newspaper to the Dexter newspaper, but I realized that most people probably could care less about that shit. I just thought it was funny because I used to date a girl from Dexter and I used to give her shit about how boring that place was (and seriously, it's really fucking boring). I don't think it would have been funny if I didn't know those places.

I really hope he can keep pulling in the guests after this first little while...I'm betting he'll have a lot more trouble booking them than Stewart does, for all the obvious reasons.
David Cross in that big wig as his arch-nemesis liberal radio talk guy cracks me up every time, too.
I had my fingers crossed for that first episode, and really let out a sigh of relief when everything went right.
I think his first episode was after the Stewart interview of O'Reilly. Honestly, I didn't know what I was expecting out of that interview, but I couldn't help but feel a little let down when it was just John Stewart laughing at O'Reilly calling him names. I didn't expect the John Stewart who got Crossfire cancelled or anything like that, but it could have been a bit more productive.
I did like how John kept looking at him in awe, though, like he couldn't believe this gigantic, legendary freak show was actually in his presence.

Great line there, Rocky. I actually laughed out loud when I read it.

My sense of humor has gone through a lot of changes over the years, but yas, I still have one. I think Mitch Hedgberg was hilarious. Dave Cross has been known to crack me up and Mr. Show still gets laughs out of me. Andy Milonakis has his moments. The last season of Reno 911 was a little weak, but overall it usually makes me laugh a few times each episode. Stella is(/was?) so surrealistically dumb that I finally broke down and figured out it's humor and watched it regularly. Yesterday I saw an infomercial for the Time Life Hee Haw Collection and it cracked me up big time...makes me want to order their DeLuxe 13 DVD set of Hee Haw's best shows, but I can't justify spending over $200 on it. Then, there are the comedians and comedy shows that I used to think were a laugh riot but do absolutely nothing at all for me now. Steven Wright, for instance. I used to think his deadpan delivery of surrealisms was a hoot. Now it bores me to tears. I remember howling at Steve Martin's first couple of albums (Let's Get Small and A Wild and Crazy Guy) when they first came out...I thought everything Martin did up to and including The Jerk was comedy genius. But I heard Let's Get Small in it's entirety on the XM Comedy channel not too long ago and it didn't even elicit a smile. I cannot stand George Carlin anymore, since he decided he was the reincarnation of Lenny Bruce. Richard Pryor stopped being funny when he started making movies.

Just a head's up...
New South Park tonight is doing Trapped in the Closet. Should be good stuff...
Although this season has generally been pretty fucking weak so far. Maybe that dude who wrote "South Park Conservative" was right after all. But probably not.

Men in women's dresses. That's the secret of comedy.

You limeys and your tranny humor. Although the Kids in the Hall did it better than you guys ever did, IMO.
Oh, and Chris Farley dressed up like "the fat one" from Wilson Philips. That could be my favorite ever.

You see that episode of Family Guy where the Limeys buy out the local pub? You bastards.

I was going to mention the Family Guy episode, where they talk about men in women's dresses. And bad teeth and cricket. Pretty good episode.
Did Stewie really come out of the closet in that DVD? Because I'm scared to watch it. Stewie's not gay, damnit. And neither are Ren and Stimpy. Bastards.
