Alex Trebek is from my hometown but I've never met him. Nor have I met L.A Guns. *cries*
I don't really meet famous people. But my husband has been hugged and kissed by Neko Case, which I've decided means that I've pretty much been hugged and kissed by her as well.

I've met several middling Major League ballplayers. The best one among them was Steve Sax.

Oh, and I met then-governor of Michigan John Engler, as I attended the State of the State address when I was in 6th grade, and I think he felt obligated to talk to any school age kid that he passed while walking through the halls of the Capitol. He was very nice, but he looks like a turtle.

Once I went to a show, to be honest I don't remember who the main band was but Nerf Herder was the opener and their drummer hung out with us all night. We tried to shake him but he wouldn't leave.

I met Alex Trebek once when I went to Memphis to try out for College Jeopardy. I've also met Art Fleming, the original host of Jeopardy, so I've got that going for me, which is good. dude, u're like a jeopardy-host stalker, cool. And here I thought Trebek was the original .. . |
