Sorry Clubber(spend some money on defense next year)
4-0(6-2 overall)
AND the dream is still alive... I'm finalzing hotel plans right now and my media credential is already approved
I'm giddy just thinking about it Still nothing but Respect for NE and Philly EITHER way as just a football fan loyalties aside WE CAN'T LOSE WITH A GREAT SUPER BOWL MATCHUP
Damn that's down right scary Anyboy know where I can Buy a Doug Brien jeresy what do you expect from a former Saints Kicker?
Proud Philly's gotta play better they weren't consistent on O-fense in the 2nd half at all But I don't buy Atlanta as a juggernaut,The Rams shouldn't even get paid for that performance
Jim Johnson vs Vick Bad Boy Bill vs Ben I can't wait to see what happens
Did Anybody notice how cool and hip the opens for both Sunday broadcasts were FOX used Social Distortion's "Reach For The Sky"(tunes was thrilled no doubt) CBS used the "Kill Bill Theme"

heh. i wanna wish the best of luck to you, but as always... i'm an eagles fan, and i have to root (or is it "route" or "rout"? bah) for my team. if the falcons win though, i'll be pulling for your team... if they play new england. enough football dynasties! if they play the steelers, i don't mind who wins, as long as it's a good game.
the pats have a lot on the line. if they win, they play in the super bowl for the right to be a dynasty. if they lose... well, it's been a great year, and they'll have the opportunity to get back to the bowl next year.

i can't believe how jittery i'm getting. i guess it's because this time around, i believe so strongly that we can pull it off. i just think that, if vick is forced to throw the ball... then it's all over for the falcons.
i hope i'm not scheduled to work on sunday...

ATL 24-21 PITT 20-13 GET Your Championship T-shirts and Hats I'm in the minority Espn has this Superbowl Last on the Poll only 17% while the chalk is ahead NE-PHI 36% and more people on the poll give the Falcons a Better Chance than the 15-1 Steelers Proud I hope you don't in the words Angelo Cataldi of WIP in Philly on our show this week "If We lose To those Jackasses from Atlanta,We Should All KILL OURSELVES After The Game" Now That's Passion I'll file my Report from Jacksonville as long as one of my Teams gets there (by my Teams I was born in Pitt and live in Atlanta BANDWAGON Jumping is Not Allowed)

philadelphia sports talk radio is awesome... angelo's one of those guys who tries to be funny or overly passionate in a somewhat sattirical way, though. he's more of an entertainer than a football analyst, though i believe he did write articles at one point.
eagles fans are confident, including me. the alcohol's ready.

In all serious respect proud I don't want the weather elements either way to decide the game ie 30 mph winds for either side

heh, i'm looking forward to a good, clean game, and yeah, i hope it isn't weather conditions that do it. if the falcons win the game with what they've got, i'll accept it. but, as a diehard eagles fan.. losing four nfc championship games is not what i'm looking for. the falcons have suffered a bit in recent years, but at least they were in the super bowl less than a decade ago.
then again, this game isn't about suffering... it's about winning, and hopefully, whoever the better team is, they'll win.
i'm thinking the super bowl will be eagles vs. patriots, but we'll see what happens. scores i'm thinking of:
Eagles : 17 Falcons: 14
Patriots: 20 Steelers: 17

If the pattern of 'What Chicago gets on Tuesday reaches Pittsburgh on Wednesday(and sometimes Philly)', weather is going to be a factor there, cos we're in a friggin blizzard since 5PM yesterday...and all I can say is fucking A!
Because football is supposed to have the elements thrown into it!
...and football on a snowy, windy, cold field is my absolute favorite to watch...
Mud's all right too FWIW...
You be 'purists' your way (which I CAN understand) and I'll be a 'purist' MY way...

I'm with Doc. Football was meant to be played outside in the elements, (preferably on natural grass). Weather should be a factor! Guess I'm just "old school"...or an old bastard!
Congrats Proud, your Eagles are in...the game isn't over yet, but it looks like my predicted Super Bowl matchup is gonna happen, as the Pats are kicking some Steelers ass.

heh, thanks, sir strat! i'm trying to savor this victory without even thinking about the super bowl. it may hurt quite a bit to think about that one, but the fans around here are so happy and excited... i think, in our hearts, we know we have a very small chance of winning the big one, but we got there. listening to the guys speak when rewarded with the trophy was choking me up. brian dawkins gave a really firey speech about how great philly fans are (and how we're misunderstood). i could feel, in his voice, the joy of finally winning an nfc championship game conquering the pain of three consecutive defeats. and when the owner's voice was shakey... oh man. he was quite well-spoken in the post-game interview, too. when i think of owners, i just think of rich white dudes with huge wallets... but he's passionate, and his team's earned it. i'm very happy for him, his team, and eagles fans all over the globe. it's been 24 long, hard years. we've struggled through the eras of rich kotite and ray rhodes, but we finally are here.
sorry andy, no hawaii for you this time. you're going to jacksonville.
i feel pretty bad for patten, though. i hope he's doing alright.

Yes, well done Eagles...congrats Proud! Hope Philly can go all the way- not that I'm favouring them over the Pats but how sweet can a victory taste after so many long years (and get your city of Sportcenters' Top Ten Cities Enduring The Longest Championship Drought In Any Sport....at least you're not San Diego!).
Shame about the Falcons...I posted first here about being impressed by them, they haven't let me down.

the funny thing is, at the beginning of the year, i predicated an eagles-patriots super bowl. i hope that i'm wrong about the winner...
