I'd love to see the Tigers kick the shit out of the damn Yankees ... I'd be happy to see ANYONE kick the shit out of the damn Yankees ...
I'm picking the Twins over the A's ... and then on to their first World Championship of the 21st century.
For the first time in my adult life, I actually miss Minnesota ... fall and all that crap.

So I'm posting from my mom's place, because I was at the game tonight. Holy shit was that fun. The Yanks got their asses handed to them. It was glorious.

I saw the tale end on TV ... happy as hell with the results. Congrats to Detroit ... it's just too bad the Twins aren't advancing as well.

The Tigers own Frank Thomas in this series. That's good timing for that.
Should go up 3-0 today. This is fucking unbelievable.

I really hope Detroit wins the series. I'd love to see the Cardinals come back and beat the Mets, but as long as it isn't the Mets winning the Series, I'm okay with it.

That rain postponement helped the Cards quite a bit, since they now get to start Chris Carpenter in game 2. I don't have a strong preference in the NL, but I'm rooting for the Cardinals because a) I have a good friend here from St. Louis who is rooting for the Tigers with me, so I should recipricate, b) I loves me the Albert Pujols and c) the Tigers have a better chance against St. Louis than New York. It would be awfully sweet to beat both New York teams in one postseason though.

As a former Michigander, I'd like to root for the Tigers, but they have the same name as the Hanshin Tigers, who I loathe (even moreso than the Yomiuri Giants who are despicable enough). I'm kind of torn.

Must say I hope the Cards get their asses handed back to them. I've really no love for the Mets either, but they were the lesser of 2 evils for me in that series. Can't believe they lost last night after that miraculous catch Chavez made. Awesome, awesome. Grumble. Go Tigers! ;D

We're gonna go nuts in D-Town tomorrow night if we win. Sparky Anderson is throwing out the first pitch in game 2. This rules. Zumaya's the man. Now, if I can only come up with 3 or 4 grand for a single ticket I'll be happy. I'm taking donations.

Tough break for you Tigers fans. I wanted to see them do it, though I'm usually an NL kind of guy. Still a great season for them.
