Holy shit is this series great.
I like Curt Schilling, but personally I think Mark Bellhorn deserved at least a little shout out rather than giving Jesus all the credit. How about some props for the teammates, Schilling?

I cannot believe we're going to game 7. Fucking Red Sox. This actually pisses me off. Giving us all false hope. It's just going to be that much more crushing when the yankees take 'em out.
I wish I was in bawston right now. I just wanna hang around the bars near fenway park and drink beer with preppie boston frat boys and keep the dream alive. Then I wanna watch game 7 with my old high school friends, some beer, some weed, some boston hardcore records on the stereo beforehand (the proletariat!!!!), and that crazy guy Baseball Jim who used to go to hardcore shows with a catcher's mitt and issue swami-like prognostications about when the sox would finally win a world series again.
I actually missed most of game 6, but we heard about the sox victory on my friend's car radio, at which point I bounced out of my eat and inadvertently banged my head on the ceiling of the car. thank you, thank you...

OK I gotta say all the commentary on this series is starting to make me veeeeery uneasy. I mean it's as if the sox have already pulled off the victory. Yeah I know they've got momentum now and new york is feeling rather demoralized, but come on, it's anyone's game tonight and it's in the bloody south bronx and the series is fuckin well tied. Boston fans should know well enough by now not to indulge in fits of excessive optimism. Shit like this makes me nervous: Yeah, one chance left. For both teams. as a Phillies fan, i desperately want Curt Schilling and Terry Francona to lose. desperately. GO YANKS!
and GO ASTROS!, too... because a) Scott Rolen is one of the biggest asses in baseball b) Houston never won anything before... I think this is the first year the franchise has even won a playoff series and c) Florida winning a world series was cool, but they did that only several years before. It's always fun to have new teams in there.
and yes, even with my "go new teams" attitude, i say go yankees.
