That was a good game last night once the officials got out of the way and let 'em play in the 2nd period.

I agree. That was a great game last night. And two veteran officials like McCreary and Frazier should have known better...let the boys play.

Hey, the ol' cable-less hockey fan here got to watch a couple over the weekend! PRAISE the lord(and ABC!)!
Great game last night, if nerve-wracking...especially for Calgary fans...but it WAS great hockey.

Great hockey indeed, regardless of who ends up winning.

Glad ya got to catch some hockey action, Doc. The games have been really good...a lot of speed and good flow, along with some great hitting.

I made it to the end of regulation time, before I had to pack it in. Wimpy, I realize, but sitting in front of the TV with your eyes closed doesn't count as actually watching it.
Iginla rules btw.

Yeah, Iginla definitely rules! BTW Riley, you'll have to get in the line for Wimps Anonymous behind me because I didn't even make it to the end of regulation last night. Might be the weather but I've been wiped this week and I never would have made it out here this morning if I hadn't packed it in when I did. Luckily, that won't be an issue with the next game.
Had a few seconds of doubt when Tampa tied it 2-2 but I knew in my gut Calgary were going to win that one last night. Don't know why but I just felt sure of it from before the game even started.

It's a great series, but bias aside, I really think Calgary has been outplaying them pretty consistently. Getting to more loose pucks, taking the body better, getting better chances etc. To my way of thinking, evenm with Tampa being as good a team in most ways, the series really should be as close as it is.

Yeah, Tampa is the better team on paper but Calgary has been the better team on the ice in the series so far. They've been grittier, they've outworked them and they just seem to want it more.

Ya big wusses! I loved the way Tampa's coach calmed them down before that 3rd period(and didn't allow any TB players on the between periods interview)....especially after that HORRIBLE 2nd! What, 3 shots on goal that period?? But they seemed very self-assured for the 3rd AND for most of that OT....I actually thought that they were going to pull it off. Oh well. Saturday night's game's gonna be gooood.

That was brutal - especially with that replay showing that Calgary put it across the line for a third goal without anyone realizing it. Or that's the way it looked to me anyway.
They're going to have to come up with a big game Monday night.

It was a goal....whether it wopuld be considered 'kicked' is then the question, tho it was probably more an inadvertent deflection.
Well, I was hoping it would go 7, so I sure don't mind.
Seeing these 2 teams, BOTH playing at the top of their games, one more time?
I'm certainly not going to argue with that. This is an absolute gift to hockey fans....
