Fisrt I saw some sorta WAY too literal 'Eat shit'...then genital mutilation...then a guy with his face blown off being propped up for his photo...

When they're diving and rolling they're nothing short of fucking embarassing. I still may have a lot to learn about the sport's nuances, but the rolling around is shameful. Sorry. It is shameful. I meant to comment on this. I think things were bad in Euro 2004 and Japan '02, but the play-acting and cheating got so extreme this time that everyone has got really pissed off, including those FIFA bigwigs (finally!) and admitted it almost ruined the tournament. I fully expect that new rules will be passed and it'll never be that bad again. I think in the long run those dastardly diving pretty-boy Portugese poofs may have inadvertently done the game a favour. |
