don't mind me, i think i'm still drunk from last night. went in to penrith to have lunch with a friend and her mum, and then troddled off to uni to hand in an assignment. went to one of the uni bars, got fairly tipsy on four dollar coronas (which is a good price to pay for piss). went and bought a phone, completely written off. somehow managed to pick one and bargain the guy down. well, by bargaining, he offered me a free car kit, and i don't drive...so it was most definitely an exercise in futility. managed to find the new sushi place in broadway...found a whole bunch of japanese people praying in a resturant...still no idea. went to k mart and got fargo on dvd for ten bucks...had seventy bucks left to burn.. a packet of smokes and three hours of drinking later, i have three dollars left. eep! and that was quite possibly, the most boring thing i have ever posted.

and to answer the 'when can we read it', well, i have a three week semester break coming up...and i want three to five more chapters drafted by the end of that break. other than that, i'd be waiting a good year or more. considering the guy who wrote a hundred years of solitude sat and wrote for eighteen months day in, day out...i have a long way to go...but know where i am going. at least. and the only reason i know that above fact is because i watched oprah today. ashamedly, so.

Yikes! What did you drink? For 70 bucks I could go to my bowling league, get in every jackpot (having a chance to win money back), buy three or four pitchers of suds for the team, and still some money left for the karaoke bar after. Of course, that might sound like a boring evening for some...

i drank beer, rum, bourbon, beer, beer, beer, double shots, beer, beer, beer and shouted a friend. so, not too much. but considering schooners of beer are 3.30...and the most expensive drink i had was sixteen bucks....eep.
i had some wanker at the bar last night (not uni bar, other bar) gasp and talk to me out of amazement that i was drinking beer, out of the bottle, and then a schooner. and i wasn't using a straw. he was like, 'i've never seen a girl do that before!!!!'
for god's sake.

Schooner = mug?
And, yes, Robin Williams is fan-friggin-tastic on stage. His Live on Broadway: 2002 DVD is a riot. His bit where he plays the drunken Scotsman (redundant, I know) who invented golf is one for the ages.

A schooner is like a pint. Biggest tap-beer glass in a pub. Not as big as the pints you can get in an English pub.
Robin Williams was gold in the first few series of Mork And Mindy!

For people who are wondering where Kat is...this is what she mailed the other day:
my computer screen blew up the other night. yes, BLEW UP! mum likes to blame it on the fact that i was playing solitaire whilst on the internet...but we know that isn't the source of all our problems. can we note that this screen was brand new and expensive and flat? so, consequently, last night i had dreams about winning australian idol and getting a broken computer screen. wahoo!
love you all, and email me, because i will miss people that i have been using the net for some time to rely on communication. so, mail me, ya bums! and seein as i am allowed to use the five minute terminals in the uni library to access hotmail, they will be replied to. i always take longer than five minues and people get annoyed, but this is all part of life, one that must be cherished..

Boy, I really wish I could be here when everyone else is. This sucks!!! I lack the time nor the patience to talk to myself in long posts.... Maarts, when you applied for your Visa to OZ, did you do it yourself or go through a lawyer and have them help you. Im thinking of finding someone, ie. immigration specialist, lawyer whatever, to help me out as Im kind of at a loss as to even where to start. I mean I know I could just fill out the paperwork and send it in, when the time comes.. but somehow having someone telling me exactly when to do what makes it seem a bit less stressful. And I might get there faster, which is always a good thing. Starting all thats a few months off though, we are in the thought process. One step at a time I say!!! I get this feeling Scott's really going to like that post. :-) Like[/b] it.... it was the best darn post I have read on this site tonight... :-) I love you Mellie!!!

Good to see you around. Lately it's been me on my own at nights- all the rest are asleep, watching hockey or having a life
