nope, texas justice is this show that's a texas style judge judy. there was also judge joe brown, far superior, imo. strat, as globetrotterish as i get is playing where in the world is carmen san diego. but i think i might be going to asia to teach english at the end of the year. i want to go to japan, but might end up somewhere else. and my dad is currently looking at tours to anarctica...of all places. and you have to go to argentia first. that would be awesome, but...i don't know. i'd rather go to europe first.

this will have me laughing for years. to the tune of the milkshake song by kelis.
my pokemon bring all the nerds to the yard and they're like, 'you wanna trade cards?' damn right, i wanna trade cards but you can't have my chariazard!'
god, that's showing how much younger i am by finding that funny, and knowing what a chariazard is.

THIS is why I love kat:
and then jesus will pry me away with a spatula. but tis all good. i really want to meet everyone from here. its weird seeing everyone's photos. i mean, it's not weird as in freakish, (i showed post-weight-gain photos, god FORBID) but just incredibly odd and mind boggling to put a face to a name. make me want to hang out with blaney, or roc doc (that art gallery tour will happen! for three, for three!) or meet howe's wife. she looks like fun. god, i just pictured howe's face as he reads that. haha. she's the kind of person you know you'd wind up dancing with by the end of the night. i need a lot of booze to dance.

in the words of tim rogers, this is fucker mccunty. i just got back my first rejection letter. not as if i haven't been rejected for a job, but because normally they never give you one. here's the things that irks me. i had to sit and DOWNLOAD someone telling me i wasn't successful. text exactly; "Hi Kathleen, Unfortunetly we are unable to offer you this position, but we will hold on to your CV for reference when furture positions arise. Kind Regards,"
why??? why can;t they give me this job??? i'm more than fucking qualified. they said experience wasn't necessary. i gave them experience, lots of relevant experience.
fuck that.

i'm actually going down there as an australian steve irwin, and toboggan with the pengiuns. you won't get that unless you've seen the newest footage of what he's done. steve irwin = croc hunter.
i blame america for him. they made him famous. no-one over here cared.

hahahahaha,. but you get annoyed by steve irwin? he's not representing YOUR country!!! it's bad enough that people think aussies are really like that, when really, all we do is pay too much for food, complain a lot, spend a lot of time being elitists and talking about how great 'our live music scene is' ok, maybe that's just sydneysiders. you have ALANIS. and that big magician guy with a ponytail.

that being said, peter garret, lead singer of midnight oil has become one of the top politicians by a quick shoe in. he's probably going to end up a minister for a labour government. (which there WILL be) that would never happen anywhere else. 'us forces give the noddddd' (for those of you who have no idea who i'm talking about, and happened to watch the olympics closing ceremony, they were the token political band with the t shirts that said 'sorry')

kat, I was quite pleased to hear that Garrett will be running as Labour candidate though I understand from maarts that it's not necessarily seen in a totally positive light by everyone there. Can you imagine though, the guy who sang "US Forces", "Blue Sky Mine", "Beds Are Burning" as perhaps a government minister??

drum, it is great. if the labour government is in power....australia will be a changed place...and the face of america/australia relations will change DRASTICALLY. considering the leader of the labour government called howard bushs' "arse licker". it's about time someone in the world had charismatic leaders, IMO. god knows australia needs one. the funniest thing about this election lead up, is that howard keeps pulling out all these hilarious stops to win over a changing public...and it's backfiring in the hugest way. for example, he announced his plan to ban gay marriages. that did NOT go down well in this country. considering the overwhelming acceptance of gay people in this country. he got a lot of criticism over that. then, his little yes man, abbott, has been touring australian universities preaching how if aussie girls weren't so slutty, we wouldn't need abortions. (i paraphrase) which has caused even more of a backlash. plus the shit howard has been in since he signed up to the war. now let's just hope that latham plays his cards right. the man has ade some stupid moves thus far, but i think there's some hope yet. i'll be standing at the polling booths wearing my 'vote labour' t shirt and i'm nt trying to stir shit with any conservative posters here. australian politics and people are very different from american. we haven't had a leader that reflects the australian people in a long time. i would go so far to say that howard is the antithesis of the aussie person. when he announced he wants to mimic american university systems, he has lost the good majoruty of student voting. basically, what he's been doing is copying bush's policy, without realising that australians are mainly liberal (not as in the party he belongs to, Liberal) and lefties. but there is a general unwillingness to be called a lefty, despite having all the traits. we voted for howard the second time, because there was 'no alternative'. the alternative was kim beazely, who all the labour fat cats loved, but, while he's a nice guy, he was never going to rule this country. he gets the award for best losing speech though. i am willing to concede that howard won the first election because of public stupidity, and taking hand of a great opportunity...which is really what a good politician does. if latham gets voted in, australia will probably be branching off the commonwealth, and becoming a republic we had a referendum in 1999 (i think, i might be wrong) and the numbers were so close. this time it will be different. i have complete faith in latham. he's a top guy. now the labour party needs to stop their internal bickering if they want a labour leader. and they need to accept that garrett is going to make one hell of a minister. god, we're going to have the 'hippest' government. how, will america go up in the hip stakes and make eddie vedder minister for something? that's the end of my patriotic wank. aussie politics is pretty interesting. laid back, stupid, surly and heated. i don't understand it at times. all i know is, i have a personal vendetta against my local member and i'm going to do everything i can to get her voted out. i have a sicth sense when it comes to this woman. i can sense her standing 300 metres behind me. it's weird. kinda spiderman/that green guy thing. i'm going out. see ya later.

He's asleep in my bed right now, but it's too hot and I'm restless so I've got out of the way so I don't disturb the little petal. Yeah, I'm moving to Coventry on Tuesday and I'm highly excited! I guess it might seem quite quick - but it doesn't feel that way. He's the most wonderful man I've ever met/been with. Even my mother says she's never seen me so happy - and it's true
