I'd rather buy books. I'm such an unfashionable nerd.... Cheers, MIf you ever make it to the UK, I am taking you shopping. No argument. Oh, no argument from me. Once I have a real salary, I'll be all for shopping. At the moment it's my status as an impoverished student which forces me to make this devil's choice between books and clothes! Tragically, though, I don't think I'll be in the UK anytime soon. I was supposed to visit my friend at Oxford this summer....but he never went to Oxford. Long story. So now the only trip I'm taking this summer will be to....Iowa. Woo hoo. Iowa. Try not to be too jealous. |

Once I had to buy a med physiology book for school, it was about $120 (and the heaviest book ever). I bought stilettos instead. Pink ones. I did eventually buy the book & just my luck, as soon as I left the bookstore I walked past a store having a massive bag sale!  Sneakers are awesome shoes, too. But heels just make it. They flatter every woman & if you're mugged on the way home you can whip off your stiletto & pierce it through the mugger's eye. Like in Single White Female. Best death scene ever. also - if you've run afoul of vampires you could use the stiletto point to stake them. See? Heels aren't just for looks, they help to ash demons too. |
