Rumors I'm seeing are that it's either Desmond or someone in a flash forward. The reason for the flash forward theory is that they are hinting who ever dies isn't leaving the show, they are saying it's a "nontraditional death", whatever that means. I do know that the next episode is Micheal centric.

I agree that Jin's grave reveal makes thinking its him way too obvious. ALTHOUGH, there was very bad blood between Michael and Jin if it is ia Michael-centric episode. And Daniel Dae-Kim DID ge a DUI last year. Don't they always kill the actors who get DUIs?

Speaking of characters with DUIs, I'm quite excited about Cynthia Watros being on tomorrow's episode. I was pissed when she was murdered by that fucker, Michael.

So it was Karl and Danielle (presumably they both died from their wounds). See, told you it wasn't gonna be Jin I also figured it wouldn't be Michael so soon after he was revealed as the spy. We'll see what goes down in that regard. Assuming the Oceanic Six are the only survivors to make it off the island, and not just the only public figures, that means Locke, Claire, Jin, Sawyer, Michael, Rose, Bernard and Desmond don't survive.

But "survive" doesn't mean that they still aren't on the island alive though, right? And the six that are publically known doesn't count Walt it seems, which means others might possibly be open to being back in 'real world' but just not known about. One thing by the previews for next week: all hell's about to break loose!

I think Jin actually dies and I've read that Desmond probably will too but I think most of the survivors are still alive on the island. I still think the show will end with Jack and therefore the other survivors accepting that Ben is somewhat right. They have to stay on the island and keep it secret. In essence they will become the Others.

Why would Jack want to go back to the island if there aren't survivors?
Maybe Jack, like Michael, can't die...
Or they survived.

Maybe the place Jack said they had to go back to wasn't the island.

A theory...
The creators of Lost loved the character Annie Dutton from the Guiding Light. On that show, Annie Dutton ended up in a mental institution. The actress who plays Libby, Cynthia Watros, just so happened to play Annie Dutton (a role she won an Emmy for). Maybe what we've seen so far is what happened to Annie Dutton after she entered the mental institution on the Guiding Light as she hasn't appeared since 2003.
I might be wrong though.
