Great pictures Phil I'm so overdue for a good dose of Quebec it's embarassing.
Childhood visits unfortunately don't ring quite as true years later.

Those are some beauts of Quebec City.
I will be in Niagara Falls, Canada this weekend, then on to New York City for Monday-Tuesday. I'll try to bring back some good pics.

what i love about the canadian landscape, is that from overhead, the trees are different colours. here, they are one colour. and one colour only. that's why we have planted japanese maples in our backyard to get away from the damned green. beautiful pics, guys.

here are some pics. i'm going to take some of my uni within the next few weeks. it's based on oxofrd and cambridge...all big sandstone buildings. it's gorgeous. that's mellie in sydney. she normally doesn't look quite so apprehensive, don't worry. this is a really old district in sydney city called the rocks. sandstone, cobbled streets, all that. we normally have high rises and ashplt in the rest of the city. it borders the harbour bridge. img7.photobucket.com/albums/v18/angstypants/rockss.jpg[/img] this is where mellie, scott, maarten and i had drinks the first time we met. Great pics! Here are a couple I took on the flight home from Vegas last summer. The Grand Canyon at 30K feet looks like a little ditch somebody just took a pee in.

Tunes, your home'town' (Town? Town? They ain't no 'town' there... shots look precisely what Lithuania looked like when we were there last September....even down to the mist receding from the lake... Even seeing them for the second time, I still can't believe that Strat-O's pictures of the Grand Canyon were shot from the windows of a jumbo jet....

Wow, really Doc? So beautiful, huh? Yeah, it's hard to believe those views are within the city - but within the city's 2000 or so square miles are more than 330 lakes, so it's not that uncommon. And I'm heading up in about two hours for a fantastic five-day weekend... life is good right about now!

Thanks Smokie! I finally saw that there...it was as though I'd just looked, then came over here and she slipped in there in the meantime. I hope she's doing OK...

Indeed I am - thanks again for the advice, Doc. The leg is finally feeling completely back to normal... I was laying off a lot exercise last week because it was just too painful (and not that good kind of pain), so I'm set to start up again - slowly but surely - today.
