I can see where you're coming from, Chrisfan, but considering the overwhelming disrespect shown to most posters on all sides of the aisle, to argue that Chrisfan Events is anything but an ego board for people unnatached to government to display the latest CNN/Fox News talking point in a heated, condescening way is...well...condescending. I can't remember the last purely civil discussion had in Chrisfan Events.

DED, I assure you, I'm sane. But thanks for your concern. Allow me to walk this one out for you. Tell me where I am wrong.
Ken has observed, and I'm assuming that you agree, that there is a lack of respect shown on the CE board from all participants, regardless of political ideology. You've spoken for him in saying he does not like it. I assume that you don't like it either. But you continue with this lack of respect behavior, which you do not like. You want it to change, but are going to wait for everyone else to change before you do.
What have a recapped incorrectly?

So your defense of yourself is that you are completely and totally basing your behavior on me? I don't change my mind to your views enough, therefore, you can do whatever you want on the boards? All I have to do is declare that I have changed my mind to agree with you on one thing, and poof! Just like that you will all behave with more respect for everyone? Oh! You were so close. No snookums, I don't want you to change. It'd be nice if you'd admit your role in all this but you won't. No, what I want is for everyone to accept everyone else. Just be cool and let it be. I know that may sound like hippie crap but the essence is that we can both exist on this board and not clash like this. We can both be who we are and nobody has to get all bent out of shape about it.
