It is surprising even to me but I don't think I've ever listened to In Utero from start to finish. At least half the album I've never even heard. I'm not saying Nirvana is over rated but there are about 3,487 bands I'd rather listen to.

Personally, I prefer "In Utero". As much as I love "Nevermind", "In Utero" was a really special record for me.

I'm a bigger fan of In Utero. It's more interesting to me.
Scentless Apprentice, for some reason, has always been my favorite Nirvana song.

This thing won't let me post YouTube videos today for some reason so you'll have to go search the site for Volcano Choir City of Music. Do it, please.

Wow, I guess it's fair to say this place is now defunct.
A shame. Some good intelligent people were once a major fixture here. And I hope that wherever the hell they are, all are succeeding in whatever direction life has taken them over the past 8-10 years.
Some memories of good conversations here so let me leave the nostalgia behind and continue - albeit briefly ......
The old RS Castaways Boards popped into my head this week as I suddenly discovered by pure chance on You Tube of all places what a wonderful album Jerry Harrison made back in 1981. And what I wanted to know in my sudden desperation at trying to find a copy on CD anywhere in the world, was why, in all the conversations that took place both on this site and the Rolling Stone site itself, no-one ever mentioned what a great album he made back then! Why didn't anyone speak up, telling me it was every bit as good as 'Remain in Light' and that I should buy it as a matter of urgency while it was still available?? Frankly, I blame Ken Holzman. He always thought of himself as the REAL Talking Heads fan!

I think you take more stock than you should in some peoples musical opinions.

Is that so?
No wonder this place has died!
