For those of you who like this re-birth of a sound, give a listen to LONGWAVE - The Strangest Things. It brings me back to those (good old?) days and is full of good songs. Anyone know of it?? I was trying to get Mary to try it years ago.

I was trying to get Mary to try it years ago. Mike - The Strangest Things is a fabluous record and the Longwave debut Endsongs is quite good too. Almost like Imterpol lite, but not in a negative way. Unfortunately their new album is fucking awful. |

I loves the Bloc Party, so I voted for them but honestly it's probably Interpol that'll have themost lasting success.

I actually do like Arctic Monkeys, I think they're pretty good. I can't remember if someone asked me that here or on the other new wave boards. I also highly recommend the new record from UK act Test Icicles. Man, the UK band names are starting to get ridiculous.
