Oh my god. You're going to hell for taking Angus Young off that list. Blasphemer!

I would have taken Angus Young off the list as well. I like the band, but I wouldn't eb able to put a guy on the list who plays the same pattern for the past 30 years.

That was a tough one to figure out after all that had gone before...I mean he had Allan Holdsworth and Phil Manzanera and Richard Lloyd on here for gawshakes...and then Blackmore, May and George Harrison get a pointed snub??
...er, no Rory Gallagher either...

Yeah, I felt bad about takin' Angus off. But like someone mentioned - - he has been playin the same riff for 30 yrs. Damn sweet riff I suppose.
Fuckity fuck! MIKE McCREADY should have definitely been on that list!! Damnit!!

Well, that's true I suppose. He's always good for throwin in one extra series of "twiddly-weedlies", and then bending the last one into a "Tweedly-WOO" or a "Tweedly-WAAAAAH". You just never know what he'll come up with next.

Oh, Thorn, come on. You put Head and Munky on your list, and as much as I love 'em, Angus would blow them fukkers off the stage.

Well, I perfectly understand your reservations of having the "Two-Headed Monster" on that list . . . but honestly, I've invested too much admiration for Head & Munky's *unique* approach towards summoning a maelstrom of twinned guitar fury. In essence, it's something like this. Although Head & Munky don't throw down w/the rest of the speed-noodlers style of approach towards wicked-fast soloes and shit, their altogether different approach still warrants merit in my eyes for being recognized as true and distinct masters in their own right. Having said that, I felt compelled to make sure my boyz got on that list; and therefore, I put them at the very end, because clearly, all 29 guitarists above them have "seniority", if you will. So what do you have to say to that, m'Lady-?

Just what I said. That Angus in his little British schoolboy uniform could pick up both Head AND Munky, turn them upside down, and wax the stage with their dreads.
;D

I can't believe you just said Angus YOung would "wax the stage with their dreads", that is freaking hilarious. You have your priorities in order, m'Lady. *bows before her wisdom*

I put Joe Perry very high on the list. I think it's something that he never had actual guitar schooling in the traditional sense. Brad Whitford did, but not Perry. He has his own unique style, and also knows when not to show off. Plus he looks damn cool doing it. But then again he got most of that from Jimmy Page.
