Glad Goo made your list. There's not enough praise for that one on this thread. They never wrote a better song than "Dirty Boots" no matter what you guys say. I think "Rain on Tin" is one of their best...

EJST&NS just never really grabbed me, it's the only SY album I just don't really like, it bores me...well NYC Ghost & Flowers is pretty crappy too IMO...

When I first bought Experimental Jet Set, "Winner's Blues" confused the hell out of me, as for a brief moment I thought I was listening to Guided by Voices. Cool song, but not very Sonic Youth at all. That song is kind of an oddity in their catalogue. I do like it though.

I've never been able to get into NYC Ghost & Flowers either. I have a friend who loves it, and it's one of his top SY albums. He feels the way about NYC G&F as I do about EJST&NS.... So y'all don't like "Androgynous Mind"? I think that's a pretty bad ass song.

Like "Dark Side of the Moon" or "OK Computer", I could go my whole life without ever hearing another spin from "Goo". All three are great records, but I've just listened to them way too much. I will say that "Ghosts and Flowers" is much better than "Murray Street" in my opinion. The lead off track from "NYCGF" is about the raddest thing they have ever done.
Althought I am also pretty partial to "A Thousand Leaves" even if they did rip off the guitar line on Sunday from Helium.

Listening to Washing Machine and I'm enjoying it so much I might listen to SY all day.

I voted Sister. But I like pretty much everything, except for NYCGF (first track IS awesome, skvor) and Experimental Jet Set, Trash, and No Star. Rather Ripped has been out for a while now, and I am pretty sure it's fantastic in every way.

Wow, that's a good set list! Last time I saw them they played the entire Rather Ripped album, and busted out a few nugs including "Eric's Trip" from Daydream Nation.
