I had the same thought of Prince as who it 'reminded' me of....were we suppose to id it as James Brown? OH! Perhaps I posted something about the Apollo Theatre??? Funny, the clip I recall most of that show was of Cab Calloway...

Why does Ben Wallace have a championship belt? Because after they won the 2004 championship, Rasheed Wallace started carrying around a championship belt, and then later on he bought them for the whole team.

I thought everybody knew that. The pic of Burberry-jacketed Joan Jett standing in a long ago Times Square, in a black & white picture yet, was very cool... there's a better one that was in Spin magazine, of her, probably that same coat, taken from ground level looking up at her against a snow-covered background, and she looked absolutely gorgeous. the picture that made me fall in love with Joan Jett. well, more in love. i wish i could have found that one. man, she looked great with that big eighties hair. maybe i'll have to scan it in and then post it. anyway, here's the cover of that issue.
