Good lord its hard to choose! I'm a big fan of practically everything on the list, but i've worn the two most popular ones there to threads to some point...
Hell, I even speak highly of Around the Sun! Choosing one of them to vote for.... now this requires thought!
Right now It'd be a three way tie between Reckoning, Out of Time and Reveal - not necessarily those that are regarded as their best works, but ones i constantly find myself coming back to and consistently enjoying - never fails! I think it plots a pretty nice snapshot between each of them of the band's overall career and sound as it has progressed...
I could say so, so , so much more,and will continue to do so on this thread in the future now that I have latched onto it... but I really should haul my ass out and get a couple of small jobs done...
For what it's worth, I'm giving my vote to Reckoning, just because that album has so many awesome memories and thoughts connected to it, and it was kinda pivotal to my growth as a music listener and a person in general - it was like a pillow through some hard times, lets just say - circa 1995 when my aunty died, it was my sanity album. And a bloody good one too!
