PEW needs to be unbanned. I miss him. I think he's got a good heart... deep down. It's the head on his shoulders that's rotten. PEW's exile will automatically expire in 1.86 days. Don't know if he knows that, though. Let's just call it, "Time for quiet reflection." And "testing12" was me. My buddy in CA can't get a username/password, for some reason. |

PEW won't be unleashing any 'fury'. He's become a smarter troll lately. He's still starting fires around here, but now he just kicks back and watches the flames, whereas in the past he used to throw fuel into them too. Unless he just comes back and swears up a storm, which would be pointless because he'll be banned in no time.

OK, I'm going to try to be a little more regular with these ... but I make no promises. Regardless, this post certainly deserves recognition: In case anyone's interested I posted my official blog on the bands that sound like Zeppelin. Came up with 21 although obviously I could have added many more. Why are you calling your blog your "official" one. Is there also an unofficial one out there somewhere? I honestly think he believes he's the most famous troll out there and that he's inspired others to start their own little 'unofficial' PEW-like blogs. Kool, you've gotta remember that the "POTD" honor covers everything from the last time the award was given. So this is more like "best post of the second half of March" or something like that. And anyway, isn't there some sort of honor to being awarded the title of "World's Tallest Midget" or something?
Yeah, PEW sees himself as King of Trolls. He's pathetic, really. But that "official" blog thing just kills me.

Because Mr. Iglow has graced us with not one but many posts worthy of POTD honors, and I'd feel really bad not honoring them here ... yeah Dr. Blaney, I'm still feeling some of the post-Rush symptoms this morning..you know, tendencies to talk in flourshing vague terms about prog-rock themes such as philosophical elfins musing about the termination of the planet...... the prog-rock'nosis is not good get it get it?!!..[glow=red,2,300]prog-rock'nosis[/glow]I made a funny!!!hahahaha. completely trashing rush and cleansing himself with the buzzcocks - that is the bowiglou we all know and love ;D LMAO! And that one doesn't even take the honor of POTD, which goes to this gem ... which was the earlier post (also on What Are You Listening To?) which prompted M's comment ... in particular, the bolded part of this missive is simply classic Bowiglou, and an absolutely perfect response to the question "Why don't you like Rush?" That being said, there are individual differences on these boards...for instance, I have much respect for Ken, yet his loathing for all things Lizard-Kingian bemuses me.. And Drum....a man of estimable intelligence and bountiful taste but he likes Rush So, I gave an "objective"; listen to my first Rush CD last night..i.e, Moving Pictures, and, at this juncture of my life, I can say the probability of me playing this again ->0 (where -> means approaches)................OK, Tom Sawyer is alright, and there are some promising guitar licks that introduce Red Barchetta and The Camera Eye............... but YE GAWDS, when that voice kicks in any proclivity to give the song a full listen is quickly quelched.
And remember when Mary use to allude putting sharpened #2 pencils into her eye upon anything that may have displeased her.............that was my action of reflex to the song YYZ.................I generally try to pick my words and delimit crass desciptors, but that song is sheer crapola.............
So, Drum et al, I really gave this a chance but on a 1-10 scale I give it a -3.25.............................
And why do they call themselves Rush?....that is in direct polarity to what they do with their songs......maybe they should have called themselves 'Meander'..that would have been more befittingDrum, et al, I understand if you want to ban me from these boards, and I'll take said retribution accordingly.......but I have to put Rush up with Ken's love of Billy Joel thank gawd I had a 'best of punk' with a Buzzcocks song handy in my car for the post-Rush purging/cleansing!!!!! love Bowiglou I'm gonna email that to AllMusicGuide to append to their entry on this Canadian trio.
