Tunes, where is Steve from?.....does he like warm coastal environs?.why don't you two do a bit of a west coast foray?......similar to what I did with my cousin circa 1979 from San Diego to British Columbia.............(did I get it right his time?..I think I called it British Victoria and was duly chastised!!!)

Bow, Steve is from the same town as me in Northern Ontario... and yes, he does quite enjoy 'warm coastal' environs! We'd both absolutely love to do a west coast trip, but it's not in the cards for next year for a few reasons: 1. It's much, much further for us to go out west than it is to go out east - heading west, it takes two days just to get out of Ontario, and then there are still three provinces between us and BC! I don't think we'll be able to take as much time off work as we would need for a proper west coast sojourn. 2. Money! Again, given that a trip out west (at least driving) would have to be longer than the two weeks we're currently planning for our east coast trip, it would also cost a lot more $$$. 3. Timing. A good friend of mine is getting married in Nova Scotia three weeks after we get married, and I'd be a shit if I wasn't there. Since we had already planned on heading that way for a honeymoon, timing is perfect. But at another time - absolutely. Neither one of us has been that far west, so it'd be a great trip. But since I haven't been east in six or seven years, and Steve has only been to one town out east (and didn't see much of it), I'm hoping our east coast trip will be equally as fantastic.

And even funnier Maarts if you saw the original non-animated commercials Molson Canadian ran a few years back that very much sold the same notion of travelling wherever for this beer.
One of my favorite "Canadiana" commercials Molson di under their "I Am Canadian" series, is where the Canadian is sitting ina bar having a beer with his cute pet beaver. An American mocks the beaver, and it proceeds to attack and maul him.
Brilliant. Probably sold more beer too, although I still think Molson is shit.

Yeah, Molson sucks but the "I Am Canadian" series is pretty great all around, isn't it? I still get a chuckle out the one with the Canadian and American astronauts on the moon.

I seem to remember the Molson Golden being a pretty decent beer but the Molson Ale is the only beer I can identify by taste because it is so awful ... !!

Ha, I saw one of those Molsen commercials about twice a long time ago...don't think it took too long to have it pulled from US TV, no. Doubt that sold much Molsen around here...
Stuff does taste like shit, though. Drank it a few times in high school because it was cheap and got me trashed quicker than the other piss I drank.

Molson sucks, yes, but very true that their commercials are pretty priceless.
As for my best friend Alexander Keith... we shall be spending several happy, sun-soaked hours together later today, as I enjoy my very first pub patio night of the season.
And since I'm sleeping over at a friend's house (to avoid having to take an hour-long bus ride at 2 in the morning), I have all I need - toothbrush and a bottle of Advil. I'm good to go!

Say hi to AK for me tonight Tunes, and enjoy yourself.
Also thank him for the massive fucking beating he put on me last weekend, and that he owes my wife an apology for writing off out Saturday. I refuse to take complete ownership for my behaviour when a beer (or 15 plus beers in this case) tastes that good.

Ahhh, can't wait. I go out drinking a lot less often than I did in my early 20s... but when I do go, it's so worthwhile. It's amazing how much a 26-year-old girl can look forward to a night as simple as this one. Should be a good time. But yeah, I'm expecting tomorrow to be a disaster. Even if the Advil holds off that killer headache, I'm bound to still have that woozy, achy, tired feeling - and even though I don't have to worry about getting home tonight, it's still onto an 8:40 bus for me tomorrow morning. Bleh. Of course, I could avoid all that by just not drinking at all... but what fun would that be?

I haven't had a really killer hangover in a long, long time. I have to say, not an experience I've ever missed.
Pretty accurate Lost Classic list, Riley. I mean, even that BNL tape; I have that somewhere and though I haven't played it in ages, I seem to remember it as having more artistic credibility somehow than almost everything they ever did afterwards.

Yeah I thought they did a pretty decent job Doc. A few others came to mind, but going year by year, it would require doing more the 14. Nice East Coast representation.
