Welcome to the temporary location of CanCon. You don't have to be Canadian, but there's a small cover charge if you're not. It's in Canadian dollars though, so chances are we'll end up owing you money.

....but I remember a long time ago some of y'all made me an honorary Canadian, you did!
I think on the basis of some beer talk or hockey talk...or some such shit.
Oh. Wait a minute! I think I lost that when I began to intimate that Neko Case wasn't all 'that'...I know I lost the Tuneschick and Blaney votes on that...
Of course Blaney, not BEING Canadian doesn't count....but I ALREADY know that you just DON'T fuck with people from Sudbury....
Yup, I'm toast...
OK, here's my 5 bucks USD...
~
Congrats on the new digs BTW...

Oh, I don't know... last I heard the States was issuing C-notes that looked suspiciously like Canadian $$$. Colours and everything.

well, see, its this little known fact that americans were the first to do colored money, but before they could really implement it, dastardly canucks came and found out. they took it home with them and did it themselves, so americans had to be content with green money. but green was such a hit, color didnt seem necessary. but now, in order to be more inclusive, colors are being added....
oh, who am i kidding. the new money is ugly as hell.

Come sit next to me in my igloo. It's warm inside.
So what's the final verdict on the new New Pornographers album?

Uh-oh, I can't believe Res found Cancon. I foresee... consequences.
Riley is post-whore number 1 already, I notice. How about doing some banking, you waster.
That's more like it. Been at least a week since I gave the dog some grief. I was starting to get twitchy.

I was actually about to enter into grief withdrawal.
Cheers.
I'm debating as we speak, before I leave for work, as to whether I should send this link to my work address or actually use this temp situation as a reason to spend my days playing bank and my evnings and mornings playing message board.
I think we all know what's going to happen even if it's not today.

Oh and Jesus, you might have missed it on another board, but I'm going to scan an interview GQ did with Morrissey and send it to anyone who's interested.
Great reading. He really hasn't changed a great deal.
Plus some of the suits he's shot in are top shelf.
