i like the secret board idea. lets tell secrets here. psssst...i have dialup cuz i'm a loser...okay...just kidding...trying to think of a really good secret so i can continue to piss in an even stream down these boards... uhhh... lets see... oh, i know:
most of the slumber parties i went to during 5th grade ended up in all the girls finding some excuse to get naked. yep. it's true.

We were late paying our bill for a few days once... the internet sure worked like it was dialup...
Really, this board was kinda limited in lifespan by its very subject matter - sooner or later, no one is going to be bothered with dialup, cumbersome, slow connection that is these days...

I see that this poll was put up in 2006...it would be interesting to see just how many are STILL using dial-up now. I feel sorry for any of you who are. I'm DSL spoiled to the point where I am wishing I had a cable connection so I get go even faster.

I had dial up until about 5 days ago when they finally got it set up in our area. I feel like I just got rid of my Pinto and am now driving a Rolls Royce. I'm already deep into pandora.com with my own radio station and all. I can't tell you how much I'm diggin' listening to all this stuff I've never heard before.

Oh, thanks but I already have that one. I d/l'd it right when you gave it to me. Took over an hour, but it's in my RealPlayer library. A great jam. I like the Frosted Side where he does all the TV show themes. I think I showed that one to you already though.

"Frosted Side" and the "Freebird Medley" deal are basically the same bit that he used to do during shows -- it'd always vary some with what all he'd throw in. BTW -- if the video version of "Frosted Side" is in b&w, I'm in the audience there in a couple of shots. Just look for the bald spot growing out of the longer hair......

I went from 56K to DSL to cable and now I think I'm going to get a piece of string and tie it to a couple of tin cans.
