Well if they had booked it a later time, I wouldn't have been able to go, because there's no way I'm missing someone who's coming here all the way from the US (already gave up on seeing Gymnopedie for her).
Actually, Kurahashi's doing two shows that day - one at 3 PM and one at 7 PM. And lo and behold, the CD I bought came with free tickets for the 3 PM show. I likely won't go though. I mean, her shows aren't physical at all and I doubt Newsom's is either, so I could probably survive two shows in a day. But I just don't have the mental energy.
This Sunday is really weird though. There's like four shows I want to see that are all being held that day...

London Girl 15. Rainy Night in Soho 16. Body of an American 17. Planxty Noel Hill 18. Parting Glass I have yet to hear ! The Joy ! tha screamin heebie jeebie Madness ! And if that weren't enough . . . . (You might wanna sit down for this). . . Tom fuckin Waits wrote an intro (it's a damn poem!)! But right now, listenin to the BAD BRAINS on the record player. Still recuperatin' from the strep throat, and I'd rather break a bottle over the inauguration of this mad smelly vessel of pirate music ! ahoy maties

I am going to see a local Black Metal band here in a couple of weeks called Thornspawn. I instantly thought of you. I don't know if they are any good since I have never seen them before, but I hear alot of talk that they are evil and crazy. I hope so....I'll let you know. I just think it's awesome that their band name is Thornspawn. |

Thornspawn, hell yeah ! I've always wanted to see em live (naturally). Only listened to some demos & rips, fuckin killer ass true USBM right there man. I'm sure you'll have a good time - I"ll be surprised if you return w/ a "meh", so we'll see. Fuck that, Thornspawn rule \m/

He said hardly anyone showed - but its cuz he expected it, as it was a Fri or somethin', and there was SO much more goin on, bein Austin and all.
DO NOT fucking miss the Pagan Dead next time they're in yer town.

Oh, and you probably missed my pleading w/you on some other board, about seein' Iggy & the Stooges on March 17 - - man if you know the venue peeps, or can get both of us in, I'd seriously consider buying roundtrip tix to fly into Austin & party it up w/you. Can you imagine ? The fuckin' Stooges !
Anyhow, I've got April 17 (Denver) to try, as well as San Francisco. Ain't gonna happen ;-\

 I got the book of the same name and I really enjoyed it. It was an easy read and lasted only a day for me. I got this soundtrack compiled by the author and released on Relapse. Man, I forgot how cool Cannibal Corpse and Carcass were. |
