yeah, Carcass was a sick band . . . and old CC, well that goes w/out sayin'.
I was watchin' Ace Ventura, Pet Detective again the other day, & had forgotten about that scene w/ the Corpse jammin in that club, that was cool

"Heartwork" is just such a killer album. In the book they talk to the Cannibal guys about the "Pet Detective" thing and apparently that happened at the insistance of Jim Carrey. Apparently, he is quite a fan of death metal and the author talks about how that might have been the height of the popularity of death metal. Pretty awesome.

Sweet. I did not know that about Jim Carrey. I've always loved the guy . . . now my love for him is off the charts.
The Number 23 was actually a pretty cool movie, I thought.

hrmmm. i downloaded a few arcade fire tracks about a year ago and liked 'em, but have never gotten around to following up. with all the buzz neon bible is getting 'round here, though, i better get to it...
