What mag's do you subscribe to? What mag's do you read monthly?
I subscribe to one magazine. Rolling Stone Mag. I read Entertainment weekly most weeks. Used to subscribe to The Smithsonian. Thats a great magazine. When I have a few extra $$$ I'll re-subscribe I think.

I'm like Amp. I get way more than I can read; Guitar World, Guitar One, Sound & Vision, The Hockey News, Consumer Reports, Home Theater Magazine, Rolling Stone. I think that about covers it. I've already dropped one guitar mag, and I'd like to drop another mag or two. Rolling Stone is probably the next one on the list.

I used to get more than I could read, so I let all my subscriptions I paid for lapse. Now, I just get Southern Living (my mom gives it to me each year). I'm probably going to re-subscribe to Real Simple. I really miss that one. And from time to time, depending on how full my grocery cart is, I buy People.

I can't even count the back-subscriptions I owe People Magazine. Remember back in the day when you could order People and they would send issue after issue and invoice after invoice? Would send continuous invoices practically for the whole subscription period.
Guess they don't take no thanks for an answer.

I read a lot of trade magazines (I've written some articles for them too) and some guitar and music magazines. I let my subscription to RS lapse after Wenner's tirade after 9/11 and the magazine's shift from liberally-minded truth-seekers to agenda-driven propaganda. Not to mention the deterioration of the musical relevance and entertainment value. 'Tis a shame.

I LOVED them, but they don't do it anymore. You could get a book of I think 10 coupons, each good for one magazine. My mom always gave a few of them to my sister and me each year for Christmas. If I went throughthe line at the grocery, and the cover of People looked good, I could get it. On the weeks that had something like "Britney Spears is Pregnant!" and I didn't care, I didn't get it. I wish they'd offer those again.

I don't know if I "don't care" or not in regards to Brit's wittle bun in the oven, I think back to how successful singers seem to fizzle out after a pregnancy. Like Pat Benetar. After her pregnancy she basically vanished from the R -N- R scene.

A very good point Pat! Perhaps it would behoove all people with working ear drums to throw Britney the biggest baby shower ever to celebrate her impending motherhood, and all the good things that can come from it!

Whats that supposed to mean Chris? I recently came to the conclusion that she has a certain flair. "Toxic" blew me away. After that I bought and actually listened to "My Prerogrative" (too many damn rrrr's in that word.) Several of the songs I actually enjoy. So what Britney album have you sat down and actually LISTENED too before passing judgment?

Ha I knew that would arouse something But seriously now it’s really Vanity Fair, Flare (which I will not renew what a horrid rag), all the big 4 tabs (ideal mindless tanning reading) People, US, In Touch & In Style. The odd Playboy (soft spot for ole Hef) & yes unlike you men I actually do read it for the articles. (major downer……… no more Asa Barber) Cigar Aficionado is actually pretty good as well & let’s not forget Nat Geographic

Resubscribed to The Smithsonian. Got an offer I couldn't refuse. A years subscription for 12 bucks. A buck per issue. Its a great magazine. With genuinely interesting stories.
