Returned from my walk. Tonight as I walked/jogged the walking bridge (each way is close to a mile in distance) all I could think as I looked over the bridge into the colorado river is that line from Pennywise The Clown in Steven King's masterpiece "It": "We float down here patlogi....weeee flooaatt.
Very disconcerting.
Any-hoo, for din-din broccoli and cheese soup (98% fat free) and a grilled turkey sandwich sans cheese with spicy mustard, sliced tomato, and Vlasic's kosher sandwich pickle slices. A couple kiwi's hair and all for desert. Bottled aqua to drink (Nestle: Pure Life.)
"We floooaaattttt..."

Holy Tuna! Stopped for gas at HEB and guess what folks? $1.999 per gallon. First time I've seen it this low in close to a year now.
Also out of curiosity I drove the bridge that I walk daily and used the tenth mile option on the odometer. I was a wittle off my estimate of a mile each way. Actually it's 4/10ths of a mile each way. Thus, one trip back and forth is 8/10ths of a mile. Guess I need to add an additional trip (for a total of 8 laps) to the exercise regiment. I am up to 23 sit-ups and 25 push ups.
And thats an improvement.

Drink lots of water. Only thing I can think of.
Added an additional 4 laps to the walk/jog routine. That way I do a full four miles every day. I was able to put on a pair of 33's today with minimal effort...hooray!

Had a fast food Taco Bell relapse this afternoon: A #1 with a diet. A #1 consists of a burrito supreme, a taco supreme and a large drink. Opted for diet pepsi.
First is to admit the problem...Yoda: Jedi Master
Damn! A full two months without fast food.

28 days (thats 4 weeks folks) without a smoke. Not a days gone by that I haven't wanted one either. Been 10 days without the nicotine gum. For supper tonight I had boneless barbequed ribs with steamed brocolli (Mrs. Dash adds a nice flavor to the vegetable) and zatarains red beans and rice. Their spanish rice is my fav, seems to be sold out everytime I go shopping. Boo-hoo for me. For desert I peeled a grapefruit. Hooray for me. Any-hoo Tuesday will be 30 days cigarette free. Believe I went about two or three months the first time I quit cig's.

Sounds good. I love that zatarains rice. Just love it. Its very low fat zero cholesterol to boot. Picked up some flounder fillets that I'll prepare later this week.
