Need to add more fish into my diet.
Thus some type of fish instead of another meat when I go to the grocery.

Prepared a salmon steak with zatarains spanish rice w/ steamed broccoli spears. Bottled water and d'anjou pears for desert.
Last night I indulged my once-a-month sweet treat: the chocolate extreme blizzard from dairy queen.

Am having peppered salmon with rice pilaf and steamed baby carrots tonight. Bottled water to drink. Fruit medley for desert. Will have gone 12 weeks without a smoke this Sunday. This will be longer than my first attempt last spring/summer. I believe then I went 10 or 11 weeks.
Hooray for me.

I am indulging on a sinfully delicious xtreme chocolate blizzard from Dairy Queen. Its my eat-fat-foods-day of the month: Scarfed down an entire 100% beef sausage log that came in a meat gift-basket. Leftovers from x-mas.
Once a month. The fat-food-feast.
Burp.

Patlogi, congrat on the no smoking! I'm not a heavy smoker, but when I consume a few alcoholic beverages I tend to break down and have a smoke; I rarely smoke more than 3 ciggarettes though when I drink, and days I don't drink I don't smoke. I probably average a pack every two months.
Today's eats, apple/cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast, and I'll have two PB&J sandwiches for lunch.

Holy shit I only wish I smoked at that low rate. Sat bought a pack of Nicorette & here’s the sin part……… it’s Tuesday & I haven’t even opened the pack yet. My mind set right now is so obviously all wrong. Gotta quit though as I could conceivably just about buy a new car per year!

This Sunday will be 15 weeks without a smoke. I used the nicotine gum for the first two or so weeks. Switched to big red after that. I started smoking at 14 (Benson & Hedges menthol (my first brand), then Kools, then Marlboro Menthol Ultra Light 100's then back to Kools), so I smoked for 26 years.
I've found that daily exercise (walking/jogging) helps control the worst side effect of quiting smoking...weight gain.
This is my 2nd attempt at quitting cigarettes. The longest I've gone without a smoke in 26 years. Rarely think about them. And thats a blessing!
