JLLM, your flash player may be corrupted. Remove your flash and then reinstall flash. That might fix it.....though I have noticed that if you play more obscure titles, it does take a bit to find the path on their servers. New Siouxsie www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3CC0t66gd4

That's what I thought, Thorns! I saw her perform 2 years ago and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I want to make out with her soooo bad.
Watching that video reinforced my feelings that while I like Karen O, I LOVE Siouxsie.

I love this band. Sakerock. They're performing live for some TV show, and it's pretty funny seeing these ditzy-looking models clapping along to the music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7W8XgjJ59hQ

www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgEvSvOAmMUMurder City Devils are reunited and playing the Fun Fun Fun Fest here in Austin at the beginning of November. Dammit! I'm going to have to go even though I have such a seething hatred of Outdoor Festivals.

What the hell is that drummer/percussionist playing with his left hand? It's a keytar that the guy has "modified". He uses it as a midi trigger to use for synthetic sounds for his left hand while his right hands goes beserk. It's awesome.

Couldn't quite make it out what it was but you are spot on!

that first quruli video (the one w/whomever actor, playing sprano sax) was very very interesting...tho i though i saw you post that the new quruli is a 'worst of 2007', ryo. not by that one performance at least i thought brits were the ones who do irony. Futureman, the flecktones 'drummer' calls his drum synth a 'drumitar' and when i saw the band...he used no conventional kit whatsoever...but he also had drum pads attached all over his body, like he was doing those new orleans washboard players one better. it was fucking weird, but what can you say against victor wooten's baby brother, huh? i think he had this whole same band together on an austin city limits i saw them on...i especially remember liking that oboe player AND then of course the incomparable andy narrell on steel drums is probably THE virtuoso of that incredible sounding instrument. I fucking LOVE steel drums. i've got 4-5 of narrell's discs, calming but always with an undeniable very musical edge to his music. that spaceman 3 vid was a bit same-y in a VU sorta way, though with some broad texture changes.... but damn you guys! I can't stay here and watch this stuff all day!!!

Ah no, not being ironic at all. Their new album was horrible. The one before wasn't so great either, but at least it had a few decent tracks (though they still would've been considered filler material had they been contained on their best albums), but the new one just has no redeeming quality whatsoever IMHO. It's really sad, because until a few years ago, they were definitely one of the best bands in Japan. And now that they've become bona-fide superstars (I saw them with about 8,000 other people at the Budokan last year), the quality of their music has plummeted. I'm going to have to check out Mr. Fleck and the Flecktones. That live clip was just too awesome.
