so sorry to hear that about quruli....fantastic guitar sound on that clip (tho the guy is really weak as a live singer) with their expansive sorta spacerock sound.
there's actually a live dvd of that flecktones show 'live at the quick' from 2002...my libraries here have it.....

Unfortunately that DVD is not locally available but there are several clips on Youtube I checked. I'll be on the lookout for a copy. More likely I'll be going to see them live if they ever venture out here.

my kid's got an abc/numbers/music 'instrument' similar to the one the woman on the left is manipulating...without that harp, they'd be nothing near as interesting as they are.

IMO this just plain kicks fuckin' ass....the only drawback is that I can't find a link that doesn't interrupt the momentem between the two tunes. On a crowded highway, this would be Floyd & Porcupine Tree mixed with touches of Opeth & My Dying Bride perhaps.....well, maybe not completely evident on these clips, but say these guys know how to work a string section into a full frontal assault! Thorny, Maarts ---- I think in particular you dudes might like this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-TJxj1YVy0www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvc_YuEqpI4ANATHEMA - " Shroud of False / Fragile Dreams"
