ded is getting his punishment, i haven't yet sent him the 'duet' cd. but i buckled down and put it together today. it's hard to find duets that arent totally obvious. i hope you appreciate the effort i went to to remember that technically human league's "don't you want me" is a duet.

I got your short-song mix done earlier in the week Glenn but my fuckin' CD Creator is rejecting the burn phase or something --- I've tried 3 frigging times so far and I don't know what the hell the problem is.....too many tracks and crossfades perhaps. Caching them up takes over 2 HOURS alone for some g'damn reason! Can't tell you how pissy it's making me --- I'm going to try reloading the program or something and see if that helps.........

Got the discs today. I'm up to track 14 on the "Size Doesn't Matter" disc and so far I like everything I've heard. It's been too long since I listened to Sleater-Kinney. Thanks man. Reviews forthcoming.

Mary- I'm sorry about this- my computer carked out on me last thursday, taking with it lots of programs and files. I had to reformat the hard drive and it's a slow process. Have to reconnect XP on the system too but Microsoft are being nasty about that and it will be a few days before that happens....so sorry but your mix will be on the way as soon as I can reconnect Neromix again.

And Melaun- mucho gracias for the discs! Listened to the long mix on the train this morning- those Yo La Tengo-tracks are oh so sweet! Best stuff I heard of them in ages! Built To Spill- liked their last album mucho mas! Good track. Will have to relisten to Keith Green!
Say hi to Dave!

Say hi to Dave!Oh, and I will. Hope you got a kick out of his singing (or rather his attempt at singing). The Keith Green track really grabs me every time I hear it, but that surely has to do with my beliefs. Hope you enjoy it. I guess it is what you would call and acquired taste. And I know it's strange that it's on the same disc with Jane's Addiction, Yo La Tengo etc.

You'll have to trust me but I think the flow of it kinda works in a strange drunken way....with a little help of the various 'bridges' I didn't reveal in the list. But really: Goo Goo Dolls into Herb Albert isn't a far stretch! ('course this is going out to a man who's hooking Run-DMC to Miles Davis to The Moody Blues!)

Hey Fuzznuts,
Listened to Disc One of "Size Does Matter" and about half of Disc Two. The only song I can't get into at all is the Tortoise song. I think the Mono song - 16:12 - is the best I've heard yet. More to come and thanks again.
