Spent some of the weekend finally knocking out the "Long Set(s)" for Wayved. Had a rough time getting in the groove for it which suprised me....still don't think the mix is the greatest -- could have worked on it a bit more. But after a couple beers or so it was done for the better or the worse.

Like Ryo, I ended up doing 2 of them...wanted to include a couple particular songs that I ended up not feeling fit anywhere in the mix of the first disc. Also broke a bit of the rule with the Allman Bros. contribution as it's actually two separate songs BUT they DO segue into each other and to me make an "epic".

I'm also fearing that you probably already have some of these tunes Glenn,,,,,,I realize I went a bit into the 'oldies vault' here.......

Man, I'm still kicking my ass that I haven't gotten back on here to post a review on Ryo's discs from the last session --- there was SOOOOO much kickass shit on there! I know 1/2 the payoff in doing these things is hearing back what the person thought of the tunes.....

Speaking of which, Glenn remarked in a PM about a Casey Kasem clip I slipped inbetween tunes on my short disc (along with a lot of other annoying bullshit "Tina,,,,come get your food....Tina,,,EAT,,,,,EAT YOUR FOOD" ) and if you haven't heard Mr. CK lose it over a song dedication over a puppy,,,,well, treat yourself: radio.about.com/od/radiobloopersandouttakes/ss/blbloopers1.htm

J/k, of course - I'm glad you liked the discs so much. I have no idea how my taste is perceived here, since the stuff I listen to is so different from everybody else's, so it's a bit reassuring actually. Any song you liked in particular?
