though they're still better than groovy sly mongoose, who should rename themselves We Suck Even More Than REM But We Don't Smell as Bad as Mayumi Kojima.

I'm trying to think of girls I know who like REM. I've never actually pondered this before...
I don't think I know any. REM seems like a band people like when they don't really have time for music. Or because they watched Party of Five, didn't that have 'Everybody Hurts' as the theme music? haha. Although that dude in the show (the one from Lost) is so sexy it pains me.

I don't think I know any. REM seems like a band people like when they don't really have time for music. This is exactly spot-on correct. They are like the most unadventurous predictable mid-tempo pablum for people who think they are too cool to listen to pop music (which is by and large infinitely superior) but who are actually too lame and uncreative to listen to anything genuinely interesting. (btw, tuneschick is going to KILL me in the near future...) |
