of those two bands..Led Zep is the most over rated one.... the most fucking aurally grating band that almost every onehere reveres that I can think of..... I'm with Strawman on this -- Led Zep is the most overrated pile of shit in rock. |

Ken, did you ever read my blog about the invisible Bowie-Zeppelin line? You happen to be a perfect example of it. Basically it says you cant be both a Bowie fanatic and a Zeppelin fanatic. You can be one or the other, or you can be niether, but you cant be both (unless you are musically moronic). I fall on the side of Led Zep, whereas you obviously fall on the side of Bowie...

I like both Bowie and Zeppelin. Well ofcourse there are always exceptions to every rule, nothign is strictly black or white. But there are such things as trends that exist in the world and this just happens to be one of them. But I have to ask you this. You say you like both of them, but are you a fanatic for either of them? In other words are either one in your top 3 or 5 musical artists of all time? Simply liking both is rather common. I mean I like Bowie, but not a whole lot. Just a little. But I consider Led Zep to be one of the best band of the 70s. You should really read my blog, it explains it all much better there... |

I'm not going to read your blog, for religious reasons, but yeah, Bowie and Zeppelin are tied for my number #2 slot behind Dr. Hook. Did you know Cover Of The Rolling Stone was THAT good? I can't stop listening to it.
