I think that that's more the reason why Chrisfan left than the attack itself Thorn launched on her. No one stood up for her when Thorn wrote those abusive posts. For her it's a sign that no one gives a damn about her and would rather see Thorn continue to post nasty things and gleefully see her get stung than get him to stop.
I wish I could feel sorry for her but after the way she has demeaned several people here, it's hard to be sympathetic. The only thing that I could advise her is the same thing she advised me when she roasted me on CE sometime ago: "grow a spine".

The unfortunate thing is that she took the bait from thorn to converse at all...then took it a bit too damned seriously, it being thorn after all...ahem. Common knowledge.
Tho a proferred 'cyber-hug' and then a 'cyber-barf-me-OUT' in response?

I mean, shit, that's nothing.
I wish thorn had just kept his subsequent indignant act at what is effectively pretend bullshit(especially accented when thorn is involved...and while CF was into the 'discussion' happening there), down to maybe a 'so-what' rather than go ripping into a thoroughly cheap, sexually charged insult...but he's made his apologies so things should maybe move on...

And I didn't/don't want to run her off. I hope she can accept my apology; it was heartfelt, and sincere. I stepped over the line. Chrisfan: it won't happen again. I mean, that particularly virulent degree of lashback, which was undeserved. What RocDoc just stated above is true, a proffered cyber-hug, and a barf-me-out in response, that's nuthin'. Oh, and another thing Roc: I wasn't "baiting" chrisfan. The MISTAKE I made was: thinking for even one second that Chrisfan would legitimately interpret one of my posts as being sincere. Can't fault her for that; in retrospect, and putting myself in her shoes, I now see that any post I make could be (mis)construed as "bait" and/or some other nefarious, leftist "trap" to lure her in & then make fun of her, or something.
NOthing could be further from the truth, of course (but just try and getting that message across to chrisfan). *& apparantly yourself, eh?
Anyhow, what's done is done. Like phil said, 'twas but a "skirmish". Let bygones be bygones.
I can only set an example by showing you all that I am capable of continuing to be civil w/chrisfan (should she return). I will do my best . . .
